The truth

I sat in the rain next to Konan. I looked down at the water that had ripples all on the water. Nagato was dead. I looked at Konan and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry. If I came maybe he would have survived, " I said.

Konan smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"you know Nagato cared for. He saw you as a little sister. He may have seen uncaring at times but he wanted you to live, " she said.

"I'm glad I met him. His plans weren't ideal but he was trying to do what he thought was best. He was truly trying to find peace. I can fault him for that, "I said.

Konan went to speak but stopped as her face became serious. She leaned by my ear whispering into it. My eyes widen.

"i also see you as a little sister Yoshi. I wish for you to be happy and find your own path in life, " she said and left.

I looked down, I stood up looking up at the sky. I will go to the Kage summit when it comes around. But I had one job to do first. I wonder how he'll react when he finds out.

I sat in a tree watching Naruto. Once a made sure he was alone I let Nyuko go down biting naruto paralysing him. I jumped down by Naruto and he looked up at me shocked.

I gave him a cold look as the wind made my Akatsuki cloak sway. I drew one of my katana's holding it to his throat. He looked honestly betrayed.

"Minori what's happening?" he asked.

"i guess its finally time I let you in on my little secret. The names Yoshi also know as the Crimson water of the Akatsuki, " I said.

"why! Does that mean you were using me this whole time?" he asked.

"you're catching on quicker than I thought. You really should have listened to your friends when they warned you about me. This ninja world is full of deception, " I said.

He didn't speak. I sighed. I still wasn't certain of what I would do.

"why would you do this?" he asked.

"to get close to you idiot. I was given a mission to get close to you and gain your trust, " I said simply.

I watched the hurt on his face grow.

"why are you with the Akatsuki?" he asked.

I signed sheathing my Katana and taking a seat next to him.

"I guess you deserve some truth before you die, " I said looking up at the sky.

He watched me and I looked away from him. I wasn't completely sure why I was doing this. Was it because I believe he deserved to know the truth and motives of the person that would inevitably lead to his death. But why would he believe me? I've lied to him this whole time.

"i guess I should start from the beginning. I lived a normal life with a normal family With my mum dad and kind brother. But my parents were killed destroying everything we had. My brother grew resentful and took his pain out on me. He hurt me every day. It came to the day he decided to kill me. He tied me up throwing me into a lake drowning me. However, I was saved. By the person, I now call dad. Kisame. So I was taken to the Akatsuki and raised by them. I began to see them as a family and stood by their side even if I didn't believe in what they did. Now all that's left of that family is my dad. And I will stay by his side, " I said.

I knew Zetsu was still around but I found out he was getting close to me for Tobi. I looked at Naruto how seemed to be in thought.

"so you're not loyal to the Akatsuki anymore. You're loyal to your dad?" he questioned.

I looked at him slightly shocked. Yea he was right. I was loyal to my father. So why was I doing Tobi's biding? I didn't believe in the cause.

I sighed standing up and looked at Naruto. I pulled out a syringe and injected the serum into him. Nyuko came to my hair and I walked away.

"it seems fate is looking on you today. I'll spars you this once boy, " I said.

I watched the movement come back to Naruto and I left before he got full control again. Once I was a good ways away nyuko looked at me.

"so you're going against Tobi?" he questioned.

"seems so, I won't be his pawn, he has caused the death of the others. So I don't put it past him to do the same to my father and I, " I said.
