Asuma's death

Blades clashed as the two fort. The Nara was attempting to trap Hidan in his shadow stitching but it was too slow.

I continued to watch the desperate attempts at restraining Hidan. It was only a matter of time before he got what he needed.

Just as I thought. He finally got some of Asuma's blood. He moved back to his pentagrams and Asuma set of a fire attack which in turn burnt him as well because if Hidan's ritual.

I wasn't a fan of this ritual. I didn't like the way Hidan made them suffer. I honestly wanted to look away.

"You don't have to watch." Kakuzu said.

"I owe them this much. I refuse to look away." I said.

Kakuzu didn't say any more. Asuma went running at Hidan and Hidan stabbed his own leg. Asuma fell to the ground. I just listen and my stomach began to churn hearing Hidan ranting about the pain.

My attention was drawn to the other leaf members as they began working out what was happening. Hidan took the metro rod again and lifted and aimed towards his heart.

I continued to watch despite the strong urge I had to look away. However, Hidan froze in place. I looked to see a shadow holding him. Shikamaru struggled to analyse the situation but he soon enough figured out what to do. He slowly was making Hidan leave his pentagram.

"That boy." Kakuzu mumbled.

"Yea he's strong. And smart. Hidan should learn not to ramble around people like him." I said.

I watched the shock come to their faces as Hidan spoke. I sighed and jumped down beside Hidan's body.

"did you come to help bitch?" Hidan asked.

I looked at him with a blank expression. My fist clenched and I punched him in the chest. He wouldn't feel it now but when he was connected to his body again he would.

"What was that for botch!" He growled.

"Stop being a dick and finish it already. Stop playing around and just get it over with. You don't have to cause so much pain." I mumbled the last part.

"Whatever botch. Now Kakuzu can you please help." Hidan complained.

Kakuzu jumped down. The four were tense. I huffed as I watched. The leaf were talking about how Hidan was now useless.

"I would think twice before you count him out. He's rather stubborn." I called out.

Hidan's head was sown back on and he held his chest in pain. I smiled to myself very much amused.

"Since I had to help I'll be staying involved now. Hidan you deal with the bounty and I'll deal with the other three." Kakuzu said.

I sighed and stood back. This was going to end badly for the leaf. If Kakuzu was getting involved they were screwed. It takes a lot to kill him.

The attacks began. The two gate Garda ran towards using combo attacks. Kakuzu made quick work of them immobilising them quickly. Leaving Hidan.

He stood in his pentagram. He was knocked back by Asuma but still got in. He pulled his scythe foward which Asuma skilfully dodged however the three blades were imbedded into Hidan. I cringed as Asuma fell to the ground.

Shikamaru ran up to him. Hidan was about to continue but pain soon called them away. The two left and I was to follow soon.

Reinforcements came which was his team. They rested him on a roof. I sighed and jumped up beside them. They went tense.

"I ask that you step aside for a moment." I said

"Why should we trust you scum." Ino hissed.

"You know he's dead already so why would I kill him." I shot back.

"Just go for a moment." Asuma said.

They were unsure but did as told. I kneeled down beside Asuma and began giving him some chakara shock shocked him.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Shut up. Nyuko do it." I said.

Nyuko bit Asuma and he flinched only to relax.

"What?" He questioned.

"He injected you with a poison so to speak. It numbs your nerves and confused there transmission to you brain meaning you won't feel anymore pain. I'm giving you some of my chakara to help give you stamina and heal you a bit so you have more time with your students." I explained.

"Thank you minori, well that is the name you use in the leaf. Don't worry I won't tell my students. You're not a bad kid." He said.

"Before you die I should let you know my real name is Yoshi. Now I should be leaving. Do not waste this time I have given you." Insaid firnly.

"Don't fret. I won't also your identity will not be given away. Thank you for this and not looking away through the whole fight despite wanting to." He mumbled.

"You three can come back up." I called as I jumped away.

I watched the scene of a sensei saying his last words to his students. It was a pitiful sight. But I told myself I would stay until he died. Despite the sick feeling I got.

"We should head back." I mumbled.

"You'll be okay Yoshi." Nyuko mumbled.

I hummed in response. I wonder if that was true.
