New kabuto

I picked a tree when I felt someone behind me. I spun around kicking them only for my leg to pass through. I huffed and went to punch him only for my fist to pass through. I kept firing attacks for three minutes before o finally gave up. I just glared at him.

"What do you want," I growled.

He didn't say anything and was just being the sketch ball he was. I was getting mad. I stood tall o in front of him. If he wanted to play the silent game then so be it.

I spun on my heel and began walking away. He however seared in front of me. I ignored his presence and continued walking but he grabbed my wrist. I stopped walking but I did say anything.

"I have a job for you. Go find Kabuto and see what he's up to." He said.

"I don't take orders from you," I said in a warning tone.

"I'll tell you my name." He said.

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. His name.

"Madara Uchiha." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"So you took his name and are pretending to be him. But that tells me more about you so I'll do this job." I said.

I walked away. I just wandered around for two days and soon enough snake boy found me. He stood behind me and I sighed. I turned around and we were face to face.

"Kabuto," I said.

"Yoshi. It's nice to see you again." He said.

Nyuko hissed bearing his fangs. My eyes narrowed as I pulled out one of my katanas. Kabuto dodged but hitting him wasn't my goal. I caused a small gust of wind that knocked the hood off Kabuto revealing his face. I sighed. So actually snake boy was a good name. I just looked at him and he laughed.

"I've taken in Orochimaru's power and fused If with myself. I will be my own person now. I have surpassed Lord Orochimaru." He said.

His own person my ass. He was following in Orochimaru's footsteps. A mere copycat. He was still in the shadow of Orochimaru still being controlled by him even if it was his will. It was rather pitiful.

"Oh really. Prove it." I said.

He stepped forward and I watched him. What was he planning? He grabbed my wrist and pulled me forward. I was shocked when I felt his lips against mine. I pushed him away with a glare.

"What was that supposed to prove!?" I snapped.

"When I was with Orochimaru I wouldn't have done that. But now-" He said tracking off.

He looked at me shocked seeing the tears brimming my eyes. He walked up to me wiping them away. I swatted his hand away forcing the tears back.

"How dare you touch me." I hissed.

I was mad. I still cared for Kakuzu. He didn't pass that long ago. The pain was still fresh and I wasn't ready to move on. Kabuto took my hand pulled me forward and into him. I went to push away but stopped when he whispered in my ear.

"I can make all the pain go away tonight. I'll let you forget." He said.

I was shocked. I thought about it looking at him. All the pain gone for tonight. Poetic but the pain would come back. But even if it was just for a bit. Maybe.
