Itachi's brother

the rain pelted down on me as I got the new Itachi died by his brother's hands. I looked up to the clouded sky letting the water run down my face. I knew this day would happen, Itachi planned being killed by his brother's hands. But it didn't change the fact I missed him. That jerk taught me many things. He treated me like an equal even though we weren't. And now the little brother he cared for would be manipulated by Tobi. If Sasuke ever wanted an escape route I would help.

I heard footsteps and turned to see Konan and Pein, they were preparing to leave. I sighed looking at them worried. they were heading to the leaf and I was going to go meet Sasuke.

"be careful," I mumbled.

Pein walked up to me and placing his hand on my head. He ruffled my hair and I looked up at him shocked. He's never so openly shown me affection.

"we'll see you soon." He said as they both left.

I looked down a bitter taste coming to my mouth.

"yea, see you soon," I Said turning away from them and again looking at the sky.

Tobi showed p and brought me to where Sasuke was resting. His team looked at me suspiciously. Sasuke looked up meeting my gaze. His eyes looked even colder than before if possible. So he found out about his brother.

"How pitiful," I said trying to provoke him.

He ran at me with his sword but I stepped to the side and held his katana in my hand and placed it by his throat. His teammates freaked and went to come to his aid but froze after receiving a glare from me. He glared at me but kept my blank face.

Soon dad walked in a laughed at the scene. I lowered the katana giving it back to Sasuke and walked over to dad who ruffled my hair.

"a tip boy, don't pick a fight with my daughter," Dad said.

I watched their shocked but the mist shocked was Suigetsu. But Suigetsu soon laughed.

"That explains your skill with the sword." He said with a laugh.

I walked out of the room with my dad. we soon came to a lake and I ran my hand through the water causing ripples. I looked up at dad and he returned my gaze.

"how you coping?" I asked.

Itachi was his partner I'm sure he is sad about the loss. He did look up to Itachi at least a bit even if he wouldn't admitt it. He gave a chuckle and sat by me.

"I'm fine, kid. I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. He was sick after all." Dad said.

Despite what he said I saw a tinge of sadness in his eyes. I moved closer to him hugging him. He also hugged me as we sat at the edge of the lake enjoying the quiet. I closed my eyes feeling tired. So I let myself drift off sitting by my fathers side.
