Hedgehog Ran Away/Goes Missing

Queen Bee stood in the bathroom and was combing her fuzzy hair with a special golden comb when she could hear the sound of crying coming from her's and Hedgehog's shared bedroom,she immediately knew it was Bush Baby and flew towards her room to see what was wrong with her adopted son. She saw him knelt by the bed,his fluffy ears were pulled back and Hedgehog's side of the Queen sized bed was empty. "Mama!" Bush Baby sobbed as he ran into her arms,clutching her tightly and looked up at her with big watery eyes which nearly made Queen Bee cry. "What's wrong sweetie?" She asked while rubbing his back soothingly. "P-papa ran aw-away and is gone." He wailed into her chest,really upset since he looked up to Hedgehog as a good role model and adopted papa. The bee felt sad that her nocturnal husband had disappeared and left and she wanted to find him and bring him home. "I'm worried too sweetie,we'll all try and find him and bring him home safe and sound." She said in a shaky voice as she too was on the verge of crying. "Y-you promise?" Bush Baby asked and looked into her watery eyes,still upset that he was gone. Queen Bee nodded with a small smile before they tried to get their breakfast made by the wasp workers who were downstairs in the castle.

A few hours after breakfast,all the masks were out looking for Hedgehog,each of them were worried about him but Pharaoh wasn't sad because he hated Hedgehog and Queen Bee with a vengeance. Bush Baby frantically searched everywhere,including the rose garden on the far end of the city with Octopus. "PAPA...PAPA PLEASE COME HOME!" Bush Baby sobbed as he tried to find his papa Hedgehog,starting to get upset once again so Octopus used one of her many arms to hug him close. "We will find him I promise." Octopus said in a soothing voice as the young mask held her tightly for comfort. "We've looked on the other half of the city but no sign of him anywhere." Daisy said to the deep sea diva,concerned and worried about their friend. Octopus decided to keep Bush Baby company whilst everyone was searching.

It was late at night and everyone was still looking for Hedgehog,even Bush Baby was still awake because he was DETERMINED to find his adopted papa once and for all...Queen Bee was also with him,looking everywhere on the castle grounds before hearing the sound of sniffling and crying. They turned around and were in utter shock to see Hedgehog standing before them,his head hung low and tears dropped to the grounds of the large garden maze entrance,his fur was filthy and messy,his clothes were torn in certain places,his quills were shaking and his eyes were glazed with watery tears. "Papa!" Bush Baby gasped,"Hedgey!" Queen Bee gasped in shock which got the nocturnal boy's attention and made his eyes drenched in tears as he hugged them,sobbing into his wifey's shoulder. "I-I'm sorry...I'M SO SORRY." He stuttered shamefully,shaking because he was so cold. "I-I-I d-didn't mean to hurt everyone...PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" Hedgehog cried out into the night sky as he ran inside to the bathroom to cry. Bush Baby ran after him,along with Daisy and Octopus. "Papa come back!" He cried out. Queen Bee silently followed.

Hedgehog sat on the tile floor with his back to the door,Bush Baby opened the door and slowly walked towards him with a look of hurt and sadness. "Hedgey...why did you run away?" Queen Bee asked with concern and kindness as she knelt by her upset and distressed hubby,who looked at her with teary eyes. "B-before I ran away I u-used to always feel jealous when somebody else would either go near you,l-look at you or even t-talk to you...my jealousy and rage would take over my body and I'd end up killing them...but then that night...the golden party,M-Monster went near you and I don't know why b-but my mind snapped and ended up k-killing him right in front of everyone and what really plummeted me into a hole of d-despair was when Pharaoh pointed at me and called me a monster that could not be forgiven...so when everybody went to bed,I ran away." He shakily explained to his bewildered wifey,who was shocked beyond words. "And during my exile,I e-even tried Ending it all when I stood over the bridge that overlooked those sharp rocks b-below...I just feel guilty for hurting those who I cared about...I can't control my urge for bloodshed and I'm not going to do it anymore...so...PLEASE FORGIVE ME...I just want to forget about what I've done and m-move on." Hedgehog shakily shouted before collapsing in a sobbing crying mess. Bush Baby also felt the sadness over come him as he hugged into his papa tightly,Queen Bee hugged him and soothingly rubbed his back. "It's okay now Hedgey...we forgive you...even Monster does and let's be lucky I can bring people back from the dead." She said kindly which Hedgehog found soothing,she helped him off the floor as their adopted son calmed down and went to bed himself whilst Queen Bee helped her hubby get cleaned up. "You'll need at least three days of bed rest for those scars and wounds." She firmly said but not harshly. Hedgehog wiped his tears away and weakly smiled at her. "O-okay wifey." He said lowly as he hung his head low.
