That's What Friends Are For (Young! Thingamajig X Young! Butterfly)

Butterfly wondered down the corridors on the high school which was bustling and busy with other masked students as pieces of paper flew everywhere. "What's going on over there?" She said to herself as she wondered towards the sound of laughing,only to notice that Deer was bullying one of her classmates. "No wonder everybody wants you six feet under." The nasty forest boy laughed manically whilst the gentle monster lay on the ground covered on crumpled papers and books,leaving bruises on his fury skin. "I-I didn't do anything wrong to you." He sobbed as he got hit in the mouth,causing a sharp tooth to come loose and blood to start coming out of his mouth. "Oh my god are you okay?!" Butterfly gasped in horror as she helped the mask monster off the floor and tried to clean his bruised and bleeding mouth. "I-I'm okay th-thanks." He said whilst wiping his classes clean and walking down the corridor,arms clutching his shoulders tightly. Deer watched from behind whilst looking disgusted by the chemistry blossoming between them both. "So repulsive and gross." He growled under his breath.

"What's your name by the way?" Butterfly asked kindly, wrapping some bandages around her new friend's bleeding cuts on his arms. "M-my name is Thingamajig." He said shyly,blushing beneath his green fur which began fluffing up from shyness. "Aww that is a cute name." The female creature cooed softly and reached out to caress his face but he flinched and backed away in fear. "Shhhh it's okay I won't hurt you like Deer did to you earlier." She said in a soothing voice whilst gently caressing his furry face. Thingamajig felt his body relaxing and he began purring in satisfaction as he felt calm for the first time.  Deer barged into the room and shoved Butterfly against the wall,grabbing one of her wings. "I do not need a girly girl like you ruining my fun of tormenting Thingamajig!" He shouted towards the female mask creature as she cowered in fear of his booming voice. Thingamajig felt his blood boil and his anger increased,he reached for a boiling kettle near the counter of the quiet cafeteria. "Let gi of my wing you're hurting me." Butterfly choked as she gasped for some air...Deer tightened his grip to cut off any air from getting into her lungs. "Shut up girly!" He barked loudly,unaware that an enraged Thingamajig was behind him. Deer turned around but was violently beaten up by a feral Thingamajig,who continued to violently beat up his tormentor with the boiling kettle,causing blisters and bruises to form on his face and his antlers. Blood stained the kettle after cracking one of Deer's antlers in half.

Bitterly had been dropped to the ground and began coughing to get the air back into her lungs, Thingamajig helped her up off of the floor and took her to the nurse's office in the hallway of the highschool.

Butterfly and Thingamajig were told that they could go home for a few weeks whilst they spoke with Deer and dealt with his bad behaviour. "Thanks for saving me." Butterfly said with a smile,her wings buzzing in happiness. "I also Wanna thank you for being my new friend." Thingamajig said shyly as they both hugged each other tightly.
