2.20 Mama Bird

I am ashamed over myself for doubting Mingyu when he just tried to help me get back with Y/n. He is truly a good friend and his future girlfriend should be happy to date someone like Mingyu.

At Y/n’s house-
Mum: *on the phone* I know her daughter is such runaway

Mum: that’s what I find stupid she throws critics everyone except her own daughter, no one *door bell rings* hold up, someone open the door!

Mum: anyways her daughter ran away with a guy from Singapore, such-

Mum: *opens the door* WHAT!? Oh you… I will call you later I got some drama *hangs up the phone*

Wonwoo: may I come in?

Mum: I would be a terrible human if I said no, we wouldn’t want that

Wonwoo: Thanks *walks in* may I ask where Y/n is?

Mum: didn’t you two finish your “dating” so may I ask why you came looking for her?

Wonwoo: I came since I love her and won’t let her go

Mum: Wonwoo take a seat, let me tell you a story

Wonwoo: will you then tell me where Y/n is?

Mum: when a mama bird lets her baby bird fly, she waits for them to comeback. After a while she doesn’t see her baby bird, what does the mama bird do?

Wonwoo: look after the baby bird

Mum: right, mama bird use time looking for her and find her in another nest with another boy bird, what do you think the mama birds does?

Wonwoo: leave them alone since they are strong

Mum: such a dumb decision, the mama bird will somehow always bring back her baby bird. The only way the baby bird can fly away is if I say so, you know why I told you this

Wonwoo: it doesn’t matter since the boy bird will keep flying and trying to get his lovely bird back

Mum: poor boy bird, he is wasting his time while my baby bird found another guy *stands up*

Wonwoo: WHAT!? (breath in and out, stay clam) what do you mean?

Mum: I believe its someone from her law school class, I don’t remember name

Wonwoo; how could you say yes to that guy and not me? Is there anything wrong with me?

Mum: if your parents had ask me and we have done it in a normal way, without this awful love, then it would have been lovely. But the second Y/n left our home coming after you, that’s when everything went down hill

Wonwoo: I won’t leave before I bring Y/n with me

Mum: Oh son, nobody is stopping you from failing *smiles*

Inside his car- calling his father
Father: its been a while since you gave us a call

Wonwoo: father, I am here in town, wondering if I could stay over for a bit?

Father: I don’t see a problem with that, I will ask your mother to fix a bed

Wonwoo: I will come in some minutes

Father: is there something wrong with the apartment at Seoul? Or did school give you break?

Wonwoo: they gave me a break on 3 days, but I do online classes

Father: good to hear you keep up with school, now I need to go

Wonwoo: see you later father *hangs up*

Wonwoo: is staying here a good idea? Or did Y/n’s mum make a good point?
