"There you are!" someone exclaimed as we entered the common room properly. I turned and saw Fred and George come towards us.
"See? Told you we hadn't scared her off," George told his brother, making me chuckle.
"No Fred's right. Definitely scared off. But seeing as I need sleep, I had to come here," I joked back. "Especially after the stories Angelina's told me about the two of you."
They both turned their gaze at their friend, alarmed expressions on their faces.
"Relax, I didn't say anything. But your alarmed expressions just showed her that there are in fact stories to tell," she laughed at them.
I gave a triumphant smile as the twins narrowed their eyes at me.
"Did you guys hang it up yet?" I asked, swiftly changing the subject.
Fred's face lit up. "Oh yeah, come see," he led the way to the notice board, and they had indeed hung their sign-up sheet.
"What's this for?" Angelina questioned, reading the poster.
"We need testers for our new products. Interested ladies?" George asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
Before Angelina could respond I shook my head fervently. "No thank you. Not after you slipped me a nosebleed nougat." I shivered at the memory.
Remus had to stop the bleeding, because the stopping part of their sweet hadn't been invented yet.
"Oh, come on Allie, that was an honest accident. And we're working on the antidote for that one. It will definitely stop the bleeding before your body runs out of blood now," George reassured me, patting my arm.
I pulled away from his touch, narrowing my eyes. "No thank you," I said, stopping the discussion.
"Come on, let me show you our dorm," Angelina said, grabbing my arm and pulling me away from the miscreants.
She led me up the stairs to the girls' dormitories when George yelled after us, "Think about it! It's easy money!"
We both huffed at that. We reached her dorm door, and saw five names listed, mine at the bottom.
We turned to each other and smiled. She pushed the door open. There were already three girls inside. "Here we are, Allie!" she said, presenting me with the room, spreading her arms out wide.
The other three girls looked up at us. "Girls, this is Allie. You met Alicia at dinner. This is Amelia Clarke and Lucy Andrews." She gestured to the other two girls from the dorm.
They came forward and greeted me. "Nice to meet you," but instead of polite handshakes they both pulled me into hugs.
Amelia had long, honey blonde hair that looked naturally windswept. As she returned to her bed, I saw that the posts on her bed were covered in paintings, doodles and shapes going all the way up. Her trunk was covered in drawings as well, along with sketches lying spread across her bed as she searched for her pyjamas.
Lucy had shoulder length, brown, curly hair. She turned and continued hanging up pictures on the pin wall behind her. I noticed some pictures were regular wizard photos, but some were staying still, like Muggle photos.
"That one's yours," Angie pointed to the bed closest to the door. She then went to the one next to it on the right.
I looked around the room. It was a circular room with five four-poster beds. All the beds had red curtains tied to each corner, giving you the opportunity to pull the canopies closed.
A simple room with a nightstand and a board at each bed, offering us the opportunity to hang up personal pictures and whatnots.
Looks like most dormitories are the same here, only the colour-coding changing. I went and opened my trunk and looked for my PJ's when the door to the dormitory opened.
