Hell had broken loose.

Dumbledore had given a dramatic exit the night Dumbledore's Army was discovered. Umbitch had taken over as Headmaster and she had successfully recruited students to be a part of her Inquisitorial Squad, spying on their classmates.

I had a fit when I found out Malfoy had joined but he quickly grabbed me and Fred and explained to us that he was doing it to have someone on the inside, which we agreed was smart and helpful.

I was walking along a corridor minding my own business when the twins passed me on either side. As they reached me, they grabbed onto each of my arms and pulled me backwards along with them. I gave up protesting because there really wasn't any point anymore.

We reached the same secret passage that we had hidden in after the D.A. chase and they released me. Then they pulled out a crate filled with fireworks.

A grin spread across my face at the sight. "Oh, please tell me we're going to blow up the school," I said rubbing my hands together.

"Tsk, tsk. That's a bit violent, my dear. We were merely thinking that Umbridge would enjoy some fireworks to welcome her to her first day as Headmistress," George said gleefully.

Fred pulled a smaller popper out of the crate and lit it with his wand. Tiny fireworks surrounded my head and I looked at them in awe.

"Well, well, well," I heard a sinister voice call from the end of the hall. All three of us turned and spotted Montague, the Slytherin Quidditch Captain sneering at us. I rolled my eyes at him. He had flirted with me a few times and asked me out more than once, note taking the hint, when he'd found me in the library alone or anywhere where I seemed like an easy target.

He had a revolting way of flirting, though. That made you want to grab him by the hair and put his head through a wall.

"What do you want?" I threw back at him. He smirked at me, before turning his sneer back to the twins behind me.

"It looks like I'm going to have to take some points off you Weasley's. Weasley products have been strictly banned at the school by our new Headmistress." He took a step closer and turned his gaze back to me, looking me up and down.

"But I'm sure we could come to an arrangement about your punishment, White," he looked me up and down again then, a disgusting expression coming across his face. I don't even want to know what he was picturing right now. "I don't see why I should write you up as well. Why don't you come along, and we can work out an arrangement?"

I physically felt like gagging. I scrunched my face up in disgust. "I'd rather lose 500 points, thanks." His smile disappeared then, and he sent me a nasty look. Fred and George stepped forward then and stood on either side of me.

"And what gives you the authority to take points off us, then? You're not a Prefect," George questioned crossing his arms. "This," Montague replied, pointing to a pin on his robes. I narrowed my eyes at it as he came closer. On the pin stood an I. "Fuck," I groaned. That was the same pin Malfoy had been wearing this morning.

"Now let's see, and extra five points off Fred Weasley for questioning – ARGH!"

The boys leapt forward and shoved Montague into a cabinet in the hall. We heard him struggle for a minute but then all sound stopped. Fred dusted off his hands and headed back to the crate of fireworks as if nothing had happened.

"What's that cupboard?" I questioned George as we followed Fred back to the fireworks. "Vanishing Cabinet," he explained. "No idea where they vanish to, though."
