The next day was Christmas break. And as the others took the Hogwarts Express to get home, I wandered up to Hogsmeade to meet up with Nym so we could Apparate to The Burrow together.

I reached the inn she was staying at and changed form when I saw no one was around. I knocked on the door and it quickly swung open, revealing a smiling Nym. "Hey Nym, long time no see!" Halfway through my greeting she pulled me into a bone crushing hug.

"Allie! It's been so long! I missed you!" she practically yelled in my ear, making me wince. We went inside and she quickly caught me up on what has been going on lately. She seemed a little more down than usual though. She was cheerful, but it seemed more forced now. And her hair wasn't as bright as it usually was.

"Nym - what's wrong?" She sighed heavily and sat down on her bed, staring at the shirt in her hands. "It's Remus," she mumbled.

I quickly sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "What's wrong? Things were going so well this summer." I couldn't imagine what had happened to upset their relationship. They had gone on a few more dates and Remus had even been a bit more affectionate towards her in front of the rest of us.

"It was!" she groaned. she dropped back on the bed in a huff, covering her face with her hands. "Until the full moon approached, and he started questioning everything!" Her hair turned a light shade of red, showing she was frustrated and a little angry at the turn of events.

"I mean, I know he's a werewolf and I know what happens on the full moon, but he doesn't have to push me out of his life!" I grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands away from her face. "Did you tell him that?" As soon as the words left my lips, I saw it was a mistake because her hair turned a deeper shade of red as she abruptly shot up to sit again.

"Of course, I did! But did he listen? Course not. He wrote me a few times since I got here but only the first few weeks and now nothing for months." her hair went orange, showing that she felt confused. I wrapped my arm around her again and rested my head on her shoulder.

"I'm not great at the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment instead?" I tried to brighten her spirits. She chuckled at that. "Didn't expect anything less from you. Maybe I'll ask Ginny when we get to the Burrow, or maybe Amelia when we see her. She's usually a lot more help than you."

I gasped and put a hand to my chest. "How dare you! I'm the perfect sister!" I claimed dramatically. She rolled her eyes at me and shoved my shoulder playfully. She seemed in a better mood now though, so we got back to packing her stuff.

McGonagall had brought my trunk here last night so that was standing ready in the corner. "Speaking of Ginny..." I started with a smirk. Nym perked up in interest and I updated her on all the drama that had taken place between the teenagers this year, leaving out Harry's Draco-theory and our eavesdropped conversation.

As we finished up, we both stepped outside and Apparated to my apartment to drop off our bags. As we dropped all our stuff in the living room, we quickly went outside again, Apparating to the Burrow.

As my eyes landed on the familiar house covered in snow and I smiled. We walked quickly, trying to escape the cold and walked through the door.

"HONEY I'M HOME!" I called out to whoever was in the house.

"Good you're back, sweetheart! Mind getting dinner on the table? I'm famished," a familiar voice called back. I grinned as George rounded the corner, a smirk on his lips.

"I want a divorce," I joked back, making us all laugh. But my smile died down when I focused on his face properly.

I rushed forwards and pulled him into a quick hug in greeting before grabbing his chin, twisting his face from side to side.
