"What did you do?" Hoseok's eyes widened hearing his sinister laugh.

"Hoseok?" Feeling the older cup his cheeks he turned his gaze from his father to him "are you okay? Have you been feeling off or weird in anyway?" Seeing the concern in his eyes caused the younger to look down.

"No, I-I feel okay?" Licking his lower lip he looked back at the other's father when Taehyung stood up to make his way over to him.

"What did you do to him? What did you put in his medicine?!" Holding his collar his father only chuckled "I think he knows."

Looking away Hoseok bit his lower lip as he thought. There have been some instances where he didn't think certain events were due to his anxiety but he never thought too much about them and noted them down as his anxiety as it made him more anxious to think about and having a mental breakdown in front of toddlers definitely was not good for their development.

He thought back on the days where he threw up blood. However it was inconsistent so he always brushed it off as stress whenever it occurred. It's been about a month since he last threw up blood so surely it wasn't because of what he put in his medicine otherwise it'd be more often right?

"He might be bluffing Taehyung, I feel fine." Hoseok looked back over at the brunette who was still glaring daggers at his father.

"Awh see your whore thinks I didn't do anything."

"Stop calling him that" a low rumble resonated from the young CEO.

"No he's right..." a sudden sense of exhaustion washed over the younger, causing him to exhale softly "back then I was a whore. Wasn't really by choice but I was. I don't even know how I pulled you back then." Laughing lightly he used the palm of his hands to push himself up before staring at Taehyung's father "I wouldn't care what you did to me but you tried killing my sons, you'll pay for this." With that he exited the office leaving the father son duo.

"He's right. I'll make sure you pay." Taehyung assured but his father only smiled in response.

"I doubt you can do anything against me Taehyung. Instead how about trying to keep a eye on that whore of yours if you insist on keeping him in your life."

"Shut up!"

Ignoring the younger so death glare he continued mocking his son "you never know you might even be lucky enough to see him be taken away from you this time round. Might help you finally let go of him."

"Wait so Taehyung's father was behind everything?!" Wonho gasped in surprise hearing Hoseok.

Nodding in response Hoseok sighed "I doubt they'll be able to lower the price for Kihyun's surgery in time so I'll have to pay it in full and maybe sue? But that costs money." Sighing exasperatedly he buried his face in his hands "I need to keep them safe."

"And we will. Don't worry I'll cover Kihyun's surgery." Looking up the blonde saw the young CEO make his way over to them.

Seeing him come over Wonho squeezed his shoulder comfortingly before getting up to leave the two alone.

"I can't ask you to pay for his—"

"He's my son too." Occupying the seat next to him the older looked ahead into the room where their two boys were still asleep.

Hoseok opened his mouth to retaliate but after everything they've just been through with his father he couldn't bring himself to do it.

After all Taehyung was robbed from his children due to his father's actions.

"I know."

"I never wanted to leave you, or them."

"..."

"I know." Resting his head on the brunette's shoulders he felt the older lightly rest his head on his.

They both had a lot to discuss but both boys were too exhausted so they silently agreed on postponing the needed discussion for another time.

Ahh idk how I feel about this chapter...sorry it's short I haven't been feeling the best mentally the past few months now but I'll try getting a better chapter out, anyways  hope you guys stay safe and;
