AN: I feel like this chapter is all over the place sorry ^^' either way I hope you like the update!

It was near dinner time the day after the whole incident with Taehyung's father. Taehyung came earlier on in the day to pay for Kihyun's surgery which Hoseok was very thankful for. As soon as Kihyun's surgery was confirmed Hoseok called to tell Taehyung the good news.

"Hey..thanks to you I was able to cover Kihyun's surgery, a nurse came up to me and said they've scheduled it for 3 days from now." Hoseok said over the phone.

"You don't need to thank me...he's my son too, now that I can cover for his medical bills, my father and that stupid doctor can no longer use him as leverage against you." Hearing him Hoseok couldn't help but smile faintly.

"Thank you... I just hope this surgery will be a success."

"It will be, I have faith in our son."

Humming softly in agreement Hoseok bid Taehyung goodbye before he hung up. Hearing Taehyung say "our son" unexplainably made him feel warm inside. Maybe things between them will get better now.

Overall things were looking up, Kihyun would get his surgery done, hopefully it will be his last and 2 weeks later it'll be their 4th birthday.

Other then the success of Kihyun's surgery Hoseok was also very worried about Taehyung's father. With Kihyun's hopefully soon recovery Mr Kim shouldn't be able to get rid of him, it scared Hoseok that he could go to such lengths to control Taehyung's life and protect his family's wealth and image.

Thinking back on it when the two were dating he never wanted wealth and riches from Taehyung, far from it.

He just wanted someone to care for him, love him even and Taehyung did both. He loved him for himself not for his body like people in the past. Taehyung made him feel safe.

That was till Taehyung abandoned him, only for him to find out 4 years later that Taehyung's father was actually why Taehyung left.

This information caused Hoseok so much turmoil. The past 4 years he's been trying to cope with the pain in his heart only to find out that the person who caused so much ache and broke his trust completely wasn't fully at fault.

Hoseok didn't know what to think anymore. In his mind it was Taehyung who broke his trust, he was the last person Hoseok ever trusted. He hasn't been able to open up to anyone since. Not that he had a lot of chances to either as his twins were priority.

Hoseok's mind was currently frazzled especially after the incident with Taehyung's
dad, Hoseok couldn't ignore the mental strain he was starting to feel. Everything was starting to feel overwhelming.

This feeling wasn't new, he's felt like this for a while now, but each time he'd find a way to push it to the back of his mind; he was hoping this time wasn't any different.

Even when his twins had play dates Hoseok was nearly always hosting, it's not that he didn't trust the other parents it was more of Hoseok knows from experience how truly cruel the world can be especially to young children who aren't protected or guided by parents. So he'd rather protect his sons then get a 5 minute break to himself.

Sighing shakily Hoseok lifted his shirt halfway to see his faded scars on the mirrors reflection. At some point Hoseok ended up in the men's bathroom. With it being late the toilets was only available to staff and over night stayers like himself so he was alone thankfully.

Very lightly the blonde traced his own scars. Few were left by the clients his mum would bring, but most of his scars came from Jaebum.

"Don't you look pretty looking all submissive." Jaebum's voice coaxed "now everyone knows who you belong too." In his blurry vision he saw the older smirk as he pressed a finger down on one of his bruises, hard enough to cause his skin to tear "Ah a new one to your collection."
