It's been two days since that eventful day, two very long days as his mind couldn't stop replaying the moment they kissed. Even at work he sometimes found himself staring at Taehyung when the older wasn't looking. Was he that deprived of love? That one kiss from Taehyung and now he felt like a teenager obsessing over their crush.

Of course they were both professionals especially during meetings but when they were on their own Hoseok swore he could feel the tension between them slowly bubbling up.

Biting his lip the blonde thought about the main reason why he didn't give in to temptation, even though he really wants too.

Hoseok wasn't sure how Taehyung would fix things with Hyuna but he trusted Taehyung and that scared him. The last time he trusted him it was shattered to pieces.

Exhaling softly Hoseok focused on his laptop screen, his twins were already fast asleep but with their birthday only a week away Hoseok was still up prepping and ensuring that everything arrives in time. Ordering the last bit of decorations he required Hoseok switched off his laptop.

Despite having everything ordered Hoseok did feel a little anxious, he just wants their birthday to go well, they deserve a great birthday.

Stepping out onto their balcony Hoseok tried taking deep breaths but he soon felt a coughing fit approaching, quickly covering his mouth he grasped onto the rail tightly for stability.

Once done the young parent pulled away his hand only to see red splotches. Grimacing at the sight Hoseok wiped it off on a tissue. He still thought it was due to anxiety that this was occurring. That and Kihyun just got released from hospital, with Taehyung's help he was just about able to cover his bills. Hoseok doesn't even want to know how much his bills would be if he was hospitalised. That and it was his boys' birthday soon there was no way he'd want to  be stuck in a hospital bed on their birthday.

Thankfully even if he did start coughing up blood in front of his twins they'd be too young to understand or worry about it. The big issue is if it happens at work, he'll have to make sure to hide it from Taehyung.

Thankfully he didn't throw up any more blood in the past week which meant he could happily celebrate his twins' fourth birthday tomorrow without worrying about his health. Tomorrow's meant to be just for his boys so hopefully all goes well. Despite worrying about how the boys will react to finding out Taehyung is their father, Hoseok was mostly worried about Taehyung's family. He prayed they didn't try to do anything tomorrow.

Double checking he got everything ready for tomorrow Hoseok nodded seeing everything was present apart from the cake which he will pick up after dropping off the boys at nursery.

With everything prepped Hoseok joined his twins in the bed. As they were both fast asleep he didn't have to deal with the 'you slept with mummy last night it's my time now, argument'. He was able to fall asleep fairly quickly and only woke up when he heard loud squeals and movement on the bed.

Squinting his eyes open Hoseok was met with even louder squeals "eomma awake!!! Eomma it our day!!"

"Yes it is~" Hoseok cooed at them both as he rubbed the sleepiness from his eyes.

Wrapping both arms around his sons waists Hoseok hugged them closer to to shower them with kisses which was met with giggles "happy birthday to my bestest pretty boys!~"

"Thank you eomma!~" they both squealed in sync before hugging Hoseok back.

Giving them one last peck on their heads Hoseok pulled away "should I make you both pancakes for breakfast?"
