A few days passed since Kihyun had his first surgery which Hoseok fortunately had the money for but it wasn't fully successful, they managed to remove a bit of the tumour but it was too close to the spine for them to fully remove it.

The past week and a half Hoseok has worked two jobs everyday, apart from the day Kihyun had his surgery, just so he was able to pay for the first surgery and just about have enough for his second surgery.

Thankfully the past week and a half Taehyung's schedule was so packed that they could barely have conversations that weren't related to work. Which Hoseok was grateful for as he did not have the energy to deal with him.

Just turning 6pm the short male pushed the door open revealing his angels cuddling on the bed with their uncle Wonho making silly faces causing soft giggles to erupt from them.

Hoseok cooed softly as he made his way over at his sons who's eyes quickly fixated on him "eomma!"

"Hi cuties~" cooing at his sons usion he carefully sat on the edge of the bed to pet their heads "Do you know what day is coming up?"

"Our birthday!" They squealed in usion once again.

"That's right" Hoseok laughed softly "what would you two want?"

"I want Kihyun to be better..." Hansung pouted, saddening at that Hoseok brushed his hair out of his face to reveal teary eyes "he will be baby. Eomma promises" Hoseok assured softly as he pressed a soft kiss on top of his head before looking at Kihyun "and what would you like my angel?"

"I-I" Kihyun's voice was shaky as he looked down. Leaning over he held onto his small hands and gave it a comforting squeeze "what is it baby?"

"I'm scared to tell you." His youngest whispered softly as he looked down.

Using his thumb and index finger he lifted his chin up before caressing his cheeks softly "tell me Hyunnie what would you like for your birthday?"

"I-I... eomma...I want to see our appa..."

Hearing that Hoseok's world shattered, he couldn't stall any longer. He couldn't keep them away from Taehyung any longer but he wanted to. He wanted to so badly because he was scared. No terrified of him coming into their life and shattering their hope like he did with him.

Hoseok easily brushed away the topic of meeting their father last night but he knew he couldn't forever and he also knew that all Kihyun wanted for his birthday was to meet his father.

Seeing the clock turn 5:30pm his last photo was taken for the current project Yoongi was working on.

"You did great Hoseok" Yoongi's gummy smile was clear in view as he came over to pass him a towel.

Thanking him Hoseok used the towel to dab away at the glitter on his face "do I get my cheques at the reception?"

"Yeah just go to the receptionist and state your name, she'll give you your cheques. I'll call you when I have a new job." Yoongi informed which Hoseok gave a small smile to and nodded before heading into his changing room.

Not long after Yoongi felt another presence in front of him "what is it Taehyung?"

"The photoshoots over right? So can I see the photos you took for our recent campaign? Please?" Staring at a Taehyung's boxy smile caused a soft sigh to leave the paler male's lips before a small smile appeared on his own face "alright...you're going to love the pictures, there's so many to choose from."

Passing his camera Taehyung held onto it carefully as he went on the preview.

"I told you he was gorgeous." Yoongi chuckled when he saw his younger friend's eyes double in size.
