The last few days flew by and each day Kihyun was getting better with no side effects from the surgery which Hoseok was very grateful for. Taehyung did drop in one evening to have lunch with them but he couldn't stay long due to it being busy which Hoseok understood.

Kihyun was well enough to go back to nursery today, which meant Hoseok was able to go back to work. Arriving at the building Hoseok lead his boys inside. Crouching down so he was eye level Hoseok started "alright Hansung as his big brother make sure Kihyun is okay today and if he isn't tell me okay?"

Seeing Hansung nod Hoseok looked over at Kihyun "now Ki if you ever feel any discomfort or any owies tell the adults okay? They will help and if I need to pick you up I will come as quickly as possible okay?"

"Okay eomma" nodding Kihyun tilted his head ready for his goodbye kiss, cooing at the action Hoseok kissed the top of his head before doing the same to Hansung "bye bye~"

Standing in front of Taehyung's building with battered breath Hoseok entered. Work wise he wasn't worried. He knows he has a lot of catching up to do which he can manage in a day or two, is what Hoseok hopes.

Stepping into the elevator Hoseok unconsciously chewed his lower lip what he was worried about was how Taehyung's talk with Hyuna will go. If it goes well then the two of them can be together again. Then they'll only have to deal with Taehyung's father.

Stepping out of the elevator and into Taehyung's office Hoseok grimaced at the paperwork. He doesn't even want to know how bad his emails will be.

Getting comfy on his desk Hoseok stretched his fingers before starting to work. Not long after he heard Taehyung enter but Hoseok didn't stop to properly greet him "Morning Taehyung-or rather Mr Kim."

"Yah don't call me that when it's only the two of us." Hearing the pout in his voice Hoseok couldn't help the soft smile grazing his lips.

"Noted sorry Taehyung."

"Now you sound stoic" the older continued to pout before sitting at his own desk "Hoseok, Hyuna will be here by noon."

Hearing him Hoseok stopped what he was doing to look over at him as he continued "you can stay in the room if you want or wait outside up to you. Either way hope you're ready cause once I've spoken to her and ended our engagement you're going to have to come up with a different excuse to reject me."

Hoseok's face reddened at the older's teasing and quickly looked back at his work before mumbling quietly to himself with a pout "I won't have to reject you then."

Despite it being quiet Taehyung heard him loud and clear, He couldn't wait to get this out of the way.

Eventually the younger did end up going back to work, so engrossed in his tasks he didn't realise the time.

"Ah she's here." Taehyung put his phone down, getting up he went to open the door for her "Welcome, sit where'd you like."

Hyuna nodded and sat on the spare chair that Taehyung brought in earlier "we have a lot to discuss."

Taehyung nodded and sat on his desk, taking a breath in Taehyung started "we need to talk,"

His eyes widened hearing Hyuna say the same "oh, you can go first if you'd like."
