(Ruler of Everything)

''Black lord of Alagadda you are here bye banished, if you ever return to Alagadda you will suffer a fate worse than death!'' The Ambassador glared at him poison practically dripping from his words of disdain. The once-beloved Jester to the King kept his look of defiance,
''You'll regret the day you banished me.'' The guards started to drag him away his ivory heels creating a shrill groan against the polished marble, ''I'll be back, stronger and better, ill show you what true hell feels like! Mark my words you pompous prick! I'll be back stronger than ever!" The White lord scoffed. The Ambassador waved his hand dismissively as he turned his back to The Jester. The Black Lord was dragged out of the palace not another word spoken, only The Jesters maddened laughter echoed thew the lavish high ceiling crystal rooms.
The Lord was hauled through the golden city of dreams, although the streets were packed with the sea of people, he kept his gaze locked on the palace in the distance, a sinister smile plastered on his porcelain face.

Nichole knew something was odd about today,  and in an insane asylum for demons, killers, and literal gods, that was saying something. Deciding not to dwell on it, she moved forward. Bland concrete and steel walls greeted her with a familiar silence.
She sipped her already cold coffee counting the rooms 520, 521, 522, 523, 524...Aha! Office sweet office.

Nichole held her bag in her left hand and her coffee in the pit of her elbow. She took out her keys and mentally kicked herself, I have really got to organize this damn mess of a key chain. After a good minute, she finally found that damn office key and jammed it in the lock as it made a satisfying clunk, and just as fast, she stuffed the keys back into the pocket of her lab coat to be dealt with another time.
She stepped into the sleek yet small office, "Hello Oliver." She said (quite pointlessly) to the plant in the corner. As she slung the heavy pouch off of her poor shoulders she sank into the comfy embrace of her swivel chair.
She spun around once or twice and as her chair stopped in front of the computer she groaned lolling her head to the side to emphasize the point, "Roy's gonna kill me. What should I do Oliver?" She inquired, Oliver stayed silent as ever, "Yeah, I should finish it but that's boring." She complained despite already opening the report, despite the report already being done she made sure, ever since she got the promotion. From a researcher to a senior researcher, it was an honor and she wanted to prove she deserved this position.
She opened the lower left-hand drawer of her desk, she flipped through the flies to see if she missed anything, no it was all in place. We just gadda-

Knock knock knock

The knocks at her door came in rapid succession of one another, at first she almost jumped out of her chair then after a moment she quirked her brow in confusion,  Roy wasn't meant to come by for another hour?  She straightened her posture, then calling out in her best 'you-totally-didn't-startle-me', voice.

       "It's open. Come in."
"Hello, D-Dr William." An admittedly handsome young man, no older than thirty, stepped into her office. She looked at the young man with analytical eyes, he is nervous, Why? Did I come off too bossy? Or is he generally just nervous, what if-... Nichole, Breath. It's fine, we're fine.
He was a heavier man but not fat. His darker skin tone stood out on his white lab coat,
"Yes, come sit. Dr...?" She left it purposely open-ended, he fiddled with his glasses, "Oh. Um, Dr. Amin...Uh, Dr. Fritz Amin. I'm-I work with memetic hazards." Dr. William's eyes lit up, "Ah! So you must be here for the file on...Where did I..? AHA! SCP-426, here you are." She handed the tan folder to him with a kind smile.
He smiled at her for the first time since entering the room, "Thank you, but. um, also the 05 council wants you in the-" She jumped up, blood already drumming with adrenaline, the young man flinched away but continued, "They, uh. They told me to. Um, tell you to hurry. It's urgent, um thanks again."
She was practically halfway down the hall before shouting back, "Thanks, and you're welcome." The pouch on her hip bounced with the sole purpose to slow her down.
Why do they want me? Did I screw up? What did I do? Maybe I turned in a report late? No, I don't think. Oh god am- am I being fired or worse made D-class?  It was possible a man a few months, (or maybe years ago) get demoted, and almost died, due to a deadly mistake involving SCP-682, so it wasn't unbelievable.
