3rd POV

"How is it we can never meet without you pointing something at me?" Angelica says with a playful smirk. Jack has his sword placed lightly against her neck, but removes it once Blackbeard comes into view. Many of Blackbeard's men, even some not his, lean under the tree to see the commotion.

They had found each other. Syreana stands a few feet away from Jack and awaits her own crew to show up. She mustn't wait long though, for both of her crew mates, along with another little mermaid held by her first mate, step into view only a few seconds later.
Her face lights up automatically after seeing them. Even the little mermaid gave her some comfort. If she was now being carried by her trusted first mate that meant she was good in will. Though something she did notice out of the ordinary was the expressions her crew held. Sure, the boy would mostly hold up a tough front, but he would always spare her a smile. And it is no surprise why her first mate's distain was unexpected. Syreana's brows furrowed, but she chooses to stay in place for this moment.

"You brought the Chalices Sparrow." Blackbeard states as if it were mandatory. For which in Jack's case it was.

Jack nodded enthusiastically. "Oi!" He waves over Gibbs, who now held a pig on a leash, that held the chalices.

"I see you brought a friend." Angelica says with a pointed look at Gibbs. Syreana almost laughs at the coincidence.

They had done more than just that.

Jack glances at Syreana with a knowing, playful glare. "I did." Jason stood between the two and smiled at the ground at the comments and intent.

This made Syreana's crew curious. As well as Blackbeard's crew. No one asked though.

"And the one legged man he is here, aye?" Blackbeard asked, cutting the humorous air, and making it into a tense one.

Keeping his expression Jack says, "Aye." Swaying his arms about Jack continues on comically. "Now before I go just handing them over, I have one or two conditions."

This time Syreana couldn't help but let out a distorted laugh, burying her face into Jason's shoulder. It was comical how irritated Blackbeard could get from Jack. He had only spoke for at least a minute and Blackbeard could not have said, "Name them," any faster.

With a slight pout of contemplation Jack says, "Firstly I'll be having my compass back, no secondly-, firstly give your word that no harm with come to Angelica." He points to Angelica, who held a shocked expression.

From this gesture Jason glances at Syreana who only gives a small smile in response, looking down at his chest. His hand laces with her out of habit and comfort. Though he would truly never know what was going through her head. No one would, but her of course.

"I make no vows with the likes of you Sparrow," Blackbeard gives him a look of distaste, "but it costs me nothing to admit that she was never in harms way." He walks to Angelica as he speaks, and ends up placing his hand on her shoulder gently.

Jack's expression becomes aspirated, and he try's to cover it up with his words. "Secondly then, prior to firstly, I will be having me compass back." When he rambled he looks to Angelica and smiles. "I do deserve it. Do you have any idea how difficult it was to catch that nasty pig? Not the big one- the four legged one."

With a shake of her head Syreana looks to Gibbs, who had looked up with a slightly offended face. She shook her head at him and mouthed, "He didn't mean it Gibbs."

After his compass was returned Jack thanks Angelica, who was reluctant in giving it back. "And thirdly," almost everyone rolled their eyes from annoyance, "Mr.Beard, there are times, not very often, when I do reflect upon my heinous misdeeds. Chief among them I realize how poorly I treated my loyal first mate Mr. Gibbs."
