Chapter 6

"Ok we will untie the ropes if you promise not to run.", Aaron said.  I nodded instantly, the ropes were rubbing into my wrists, giving me a burning sensation.

"You will want to sit down for this", Micah said. He sat down next to me and the rest of the boys followed.

"Ok this is going to sound really crazy, but I'm just going to say it. We are vampires.", Aaron said. I was completely shocked. Vampires? They didn't exist. They're mythical creatures you find in books and in movies but not in reality. I was frozen in my spot,

"Rain?"

"Prove it", I muttered.

"What?", one of the boys asked.

"I said prove it. Vampires are mythical creatures. If you want me to believe you, prove it.", I said.

Aaron sighed."Alright, but please don't scream. It gets really old and annoying." I nodded and waited. Aaron opened his mouth and I watched as his teeth grew into fangs. I was completely frozen in fear, but my mind still told me that it wasn't true.

"Wow you have fangs. What did you do go buy them at the store?"

"That wasn't enough to make you believe me?", Aaron asked. I shook my head.

"Nope. Going to need more than that.", I said. Aaron began to walk toward me. He put his hand on my chin and turned my head to the side. He leaned in and I felt his breath on my neck.

"Close your eyes, princess. This might hurt a bit.", he said. Then I felt pressure on my neck. I squeezed my eyes shut and I felt two little pricks in my neck.

I didn't scream, but I whimpered a little bit. I felt the blood drain from me, as I began to feel light-headed. He was really sucking my blood. They really were vampires. I opened my eyes and looked around the room at the other boys. Their eyes red with hunger. My vision became blurry and my legs gave out on me.

"Sleep well, princess." was the last thing I heard.
