Chapter 3

    I woke up screaming from a horrible nightmare. I noticed I was drenched with sweat and I was crying. Seeing my brother getting murdered again for the millionth time was way worse than horrible.

    I ran to the bathroom and threw up what seemed all my guts. Tears stung my eyes, and my hair was tangled.

   When I was done, I drug myself into my room and sat in my bean bag chair across from my closet. I looked at my door and saw a shadow. I jerked my head to the window, but didn't see anything.

    I felt the spidery feeling creeping up on me again and it was freaking me out. I ran to my bed and threw the covers over my head. Every once in a while I would peek out, but I mostly stayed hidden.

   The spidery feeling finally went away. I started hyperventilating. I grabbed my phone and pulled up Alex's number and hit send.

   "Rainy?", Alex said.

    "Alex we need to talk."

      My parents had already left for work when I got downstairs. I gave Alex my address and he said he was on his way over. 5 minutes later, I heard a knock on the front door.

    I ran to get it. I opened the door and invited Alex in.

  " So what's the problem?", he asked.

      " I felt this spidery feeling, and I felt it before at school. It feels like someone is watching me.", I said.

    His face paled even more than it normally was. He stood frozen and stiff. If I would have pushed him, he still wouldn't of fallen over.

   " I think someone is stalking you Rainy.", he said.

   I just burst out laughing and he gave me a weird look.

    "Why are you laughing? That's not funny!", Alex said.

   "Why would someone be stalking me? It doesn't make any sense!", I exclaimed. He mumbled something under his breath that sounded something like, you have no idea.

  " What did you say?", I asked.

      " I said probably cause your beautiful.", he said.

  My heart jumped and almost went into my throat. I was so shocked now I was the human ice cube.

     Alex cleared his throat and looked me in the eyes. "You really are beautiful Rainy.", he said, and he turned to leave for the second time.

  "Wait Alex!"

      "I'll see you at school.", he said.

I swallowed my fear and grabbed his face in my hands and moved forward, pressing my lips to his.
