{Lincoln's POV}
"It is only a matter of time before she starts to awaken. We don't have time to stand in the shadows and watch anymore." I watch as Jace strides towards me pointing a finger to my chest. "If you don't tell her what's going on I'll take it upon my self to do so. I'm not letting what happen to Diana happen to her."
I yank his hand out from in front of me allowing me to get so close our noses almost touch. "If you speak a word to her about what she may or may not be I will personally rip your head off and shove it up your ass. Got it?"
Jace takes a step back becoming in-raged by the second. "What the hell is your problem! Ever since she arrive you have been moody. Look I don't want to sound like a prick but come on. Get it together. We don't have time to just sit around as if nothing is going to happen." He looks away and runs his fingers through his light blonde hair. "You need to tell her Link or I will." I clench my jaw as I try to withhold my building anger.
"You need to drop this Jace before someone ends up getting hurt and I can ensure you that it won't be her." I spat.
Jace gets up from the chair and makes his way to the door. With his hand on the door knob he glances over his shoulder. "She had a right to know Link. You can't keep the truth from her forever. You know Vincent will come for her." Then he walked out shutting the door behind him.
I stayed in the room for a little longer before I got up and walked out. I walked along the halls until I came to a familiar dark wood door. I pulled out a key from my front pocket and swiftly unlocked the door.
Not one person has stepped foot in my room other than me. I didn't like people invading my personal space no matter how close they were to me.
The room was simple. Only containing a few pieces of furniture, but it was comforting to me. To have a place that belongs solely to me.
I walk to a set of white double doors and am welcomed by the racks of shirts, jeans, and other articles of clothing when I open the two doors. I slip my shoes off placing them in their place and take off my jeans and shirt placing them in the hamper. I walk out of the closet shutting the doors behind me and make my way to the bed.
I don't know what to do anymore. I was going to have to tell her there was no way around it. Jace was right she had the right to know and she was going to find out soon anyways once her powers awakened.
My heart dipped at the though of bringing yet another person into this fucked up life of constant fear and danger. I sat in silence staring up at the ceiling.
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
These were the only sounds I could hear. Reminding me that time was running out. Soon Vincent and his army would come and if we didn't figure out something many lives would be lost.
I pushed the thoughts out of my head and reached over and grabbed a small remote from the nightstand. With a click of a button the lights went out.
I was enveloped in darkness.

{Angel's POV}
Thanksgiving is only a few days away and mom has made it her hobby to decorate for every holiday of the year. Now I'm stuck in the freezing cold setting up decor all over our front porch.
The front door opens and mom comes out with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. "Please tell me that is for me?" I say as I stand up and lean against the railing.
She smiles at me as she joins me on the porch handing me the steaming mug. "Now what kind of mother do you think I am?" She says as she begins to laugh at her own joke.
I thank her as I take the mug and hold it to my lips, gingerly sipping at the substance. "Hey mom?" I ask as I lay my head on her shoulder.
"Yes dear." she relies as she strokes my hair.
"Do you think we made the right decision in moving here?"
Her hand stops caressing my head. "Now why would you ask a question like that?"
I sigh, "I don't know I mean your gone more than your here and your always so tiered."
There was a moment of silence before she said anything. "Now sweetheart don't you worry. We will be back to normal in no time and besides you have great friends here along with a much better education."
I shrug, "I mean I guess."
"Now then why don't we go inside before our toes freeze?"
We laugh as we enter the warmth of the house. I can only hope that everything turns out the way it was planned.
