"Okay, so listen everyone! Tomorrow we will call the Pandit ji first thing in the morning." Kavita said but Suman and Kanchan looked at each other not sure about the idea. This didn't went unnoticed by Shravan.

"Maa, let's not rush into things. Let us first convince Suman's family, then we will think about all the dates of functions. Okay?" He asked and Kavita nodded in understanding.

The Tiwari sisters looked at him and mother a 'thank you' to which he just smiled.

"Accha it's already late now, everyone go back and sleep." Devraj said and Bunty and the Tiwari sisters left for their respective houses after biding the Malhotras.

"Tell me Suman, how are you going to convince my parents?" Kanchan asked on their way home.

"I haven't thought of a plan yet, but tomorrow after talking with Shravan I'm sure there must be 2 to 3 plans ready." Suman said as she opened the door of her house.

"Itna vishwaas hai jeeju pe?" Kanchan asked.

"Khud se bhi zyada. Agar vishwaas nahi hota na, toh kabhi pyaar nahi karti." Suman said and Kanchan closed the door locking it behind her.

"Do you have any important work at Cantt tomorrow?" Kanchan asked.

"No why?" Suman asked.

"I was just thinking about reminiscing the old days. Can we open all the memory boxes that we created?" Kanchan asked with excitement to which Suman just chuckled and agreed for the plan.

"Okay, but let me first change into some comfy clothes." Suman said and went upstairs to change herself.

*******

While combing her hair Suman kept looking at the shiny ring that her boyfriend- now fiancé gave her, well proposed her.

She remembered how he knelt down and those words that made her heart skip a beat out of excitement. She knew Shravan was fast in moving forward, but she didn't expect him to be this fast.

The conclusion is- she is happy and he is happy.

"Suman, how much time will you take?" Kanchan shouted from downstairs breaking Suman's thoughts.

"Coming." Suman replied and took the boxes with her. There were 3 boxes and her view was getting blocked.

"Give me." She heard a voice which she is going to hear every single day of her life.

"Shravan?" She was confused. He took 2 boxes from her and settled it on the floor.

"What are you doing here?" She asked as she also settled the box.

"I wasn't sleepy, so I asked Kancha whether you slept or not. So she told me about your plan and asked me to come over and here I am!" Shravan said in a dramatic way making the girls laugh. Shravan also bought a couple of boxes of his memory.

"Let's start now!" Kanchan said and the trio sat on the floor with their boxes.

"Wow, Shravan. I didn't expect you to have a memory box." Suman said.

"Neither did I. It was Avni who encouraged me to make one, but now I have two." Shravan said as he caressed the top of his memory box.

He always had a soft heart. He never shows it, but those who know him knows this.

Kanchan opened her box and took out a photo frame and handed it to Suman.

"Kancha.... When?" Suman asked surprised by the photo in that frame. Shravan took the frame from Suman and smiled looking at that picture.

"I'm pretty sure, you both remember you guys used to fight a lot." To which Shravan and Suman chuckled.

"I'm also sure that you don't remember that you both have met when you were 8 and I was 4."

"But how come you remember and we don't?" Shravan asked.

"That's because Badi Maa told me this while she handed me the photograph. Even I didn't know about this." Kanchan said and the couple smiled.

Yes, it was a picture of 8 year old Shravan and Suman bickering.

"Did Maa tell you the whole story?" Suman asked softly looking at the picture.

"Yeah. You wanna hear?" Kanchan asked with excitement to which Suman chuckled sadly.

"Of course, but--" Suman was cutted by Kanchan.

"Why don't you forgive yourself, Suman?"

"I can't. I just can't. She didn't talk to me, even when she was breathing for the last time." A lone tear escaped her eyes but she wiped it quickly.

"There is no need to forgive yourself if you are not ready." Shravan said as he side hugged her and kissed the side of her head.

"Okay. Now you guys wanna hear the story or not?" Kanchan asked changing the topic.

"Yes, please." Shravan said, Suman still in his embrace.

"We used to live in Indore, Suman. I'm sure you remember this." To which Suman nodded.

"When we were about to leave Bhopal, Devraj uncle invited us on lunch. That's the time when you both met for the first time."  Kanchan said and both of them smiled.

"Shravan hated you for being so well behaved in front of elders, while Shravan was a brat." This made the trio laugh.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. I can remember something. Did I teased her by playing with her hair?" Shravan asked.

"Yes." Kanchan nodded in positive.

"Oh wait! Did I complain to uncle and aunty about him?" Suman asked as she also remembered something.

"Oh my god, yes!" Kanchan said and the couple looked at each other smiling.

"Wow. I always knew about him but couldn't remember his name." Suman said.

"Same here." Shravan said.

"Well, now I guess you both remember the rest. So let's move on to other things." Kanchan said and the couple nodded.
