Chapter 12 prt.2
Same day
Zoe's P.O.V
Andrea didn't feel like going out, so we're just chilling with Jen in their place.
"Zoey you have to see this" Jen gets up, and sits next to me showing me her phone. I stare at the picture. One they went to the park without telling me, and two she's clearly kissing Matt.
"Oh shit" Andrea and I say at the same time. I told them about Matt.
"Why? Why would she do this? Why would he let her?!" I say going on twitter. You can clearly tell he likes it, because his hands are cupped on her cheeks.
"I'm not phased" I say to myself
"Babe it's ok he doesn't deserve you to be honest none of them do" Andrea says
"I have to go bye" I say getting up with my board, and walking out the door. I run out, and immediately start riding. I don't know where, but I am. I guess that I'll just go to the Skate park, and clear my mind out. Thank goodness it's near. I start snapchatting.
"Clearing the mind" I say into the camera as I take a video of my feet on the board. Once I've arrived I immediately see a open spot, and I start going hardcore. I go hardcore when I need to, because then all I focus about is me, and my board nothing else.
//God knows how long later//
"Whoa slow down there" I'm startled by a familiar voice...Ben.
"Hey" I smile.
"So I see you're in a jam" He says pointing at my broken board. Yeah I was going a bit hardcore....
"I've got more" I say
"How are you getting home?"
"Forgot about that" I chuckle
"You know what I'll take you I know how it's like when you skate to the max, because of stress" He smiles
"That's sweet I'll accept the offer" I say throwing out my broken board, and walking with him to his car.
"So what's your deal? I mean skater chick who's awesome, but somewhat sensitive" He glances at me
"What do you mean? Are you like reading my soul?" I giggle.
"It's just this gut feeling I have about you I don't know" He chuckles
"Well what you said is right" I say as we arrive to his car. He opens the door for me, and I thank him as I get in. Once he closes the door, and gets on the driver seat he starts the car.
"By the way you may want to hold on tight" He chuckles
"By the way I live on XXX XXXX ave" I say as he nods, and starts driving a little fast nothing I can't handle.
"Is that fast?" I tease
"Haha" He chuckles
"Ok so what's your deal? I mean skater boy who is really talented, but at the same time talented in other things as well, but is really shy about it" I say looking really closely at his face
"Gut feeling?" He chuckles "but yeah you can say that again" He shrugs
"So what else are you talented at?"
"I sing, but not in public, and I play the piano not in public either"
"Hm I'd like to hear you sing someday" I smile.
"Nope never going to happen" He shakes his head
"You're going to have to eventually" I shrug
"Nah I don't think so" He says pulling up to my house.
"Since you were kind enough to bring me here wanna come in?" I ask
"Sure" He smiles as we get out of the car. We start walking towards the entrance of the building. He looks at me then intertwines out hands. Hesitating at first. I don't mind. For some reason I can't stop smiling. We enter the building, and pass to the elevator. It's a comfortable silence. Once it opens we walk inside still with our hands intertwined. I put in my floor number, and wait until the doors close. Its just us. We start looking at each other like a freaking movie.
"Can I kiss you?" I nod. He starts to lean in, and so do I. Our lips barley touching. He finally links our lips together for a good five seconds before the door opens. We walk out full on red, and walk up to my place. I open my doors, and walk in. He's still in the hallway leaning on the door.
"You're not coming in?" I ask
"No, because then one thing can lead up to another, and I don't want to go fast, or do anything you'll regret" He says making me smile
"Smart guy" I chuckle
"So will you go on a date with me?" He asks as I move up to him.
"Yes" I smile as he leans in again to connect our lips. Moving in rhythm. I swear this guy is killing me. He's so sweet. He pulls away
"Like I said one thing can lead up to another" He smiles "Not that I'd mind, but you know my morals prevent me" He chuckles
"I'll see you later" I kiss his cheek. He walks away smiling. I close the door, and pat my back.
"Go Zoe! Go Zoe!" I sing doing a little dance "He's Hot, and sweet!" I sing like a little girl "He's a skater, and he can sing" I squeal "My life is complete" I sing as I walk towards the living room.
"Hey guys" I smile waving then walking towards the kitchen. Wait. I walk back to the living room,. Have they? Did they hear me? Oh no
"Nice voice" Carter chuckles making my face heat up
"Haley?"
"With Matt upstairs" Carter smirks. There's a knock on the door. I go to the door, and open it.
"Uh I left my keys with my friend, and he's not picking up" Ben chuckles
"You could crash here. You're responsible plus there are people in there, so nothing's going to happen" I say pulling him in. I close the door, and walk him into the living room
"Oh are you the sweet hot guy she was raving over" Johnson says in a girly voice as I give him a death glare. Managing to make Ben chuckle
"You may know Ben from the the competition" I say
"And I know your names you guys are all over the Internet" He says
"You could sit down next to Shawn" I say pointing at the empty spot in the couch. He sits down. I can't find a seat, so I sit on his lap. He doesn't seem like he minds. He wraps his arms around my waist as I go on my phone. I could feel the tension in the air. Oh boy what have I done?
