This girl moved into my apartment (One day)
One look at her my heart was stopping (Heartbreak)

"Jennie, need a hand?"

I asked my neighbor, flashing her my boyish grin. She invited me over again so that we could eat lunch together that's why I was at her flat. And now I was watching her moving around her kitchen with awe, while preparing the ingredients she needs for her dish.

"No, no, no, Kai. It's fine. Just make yourself busy while I cook."

There she goes... again. Her voice that always sent shivers to my spine. Making the butterflies inside my stomach to go wild.

I sat infront of her kitchen stool instead. Making myself to look handsome. For her to at least take a look at me and somewhere at the back of my head, I was wishing that she'll look at me the way how I look at her.

No, not simply...but rather hardly...

Hardly in love with her.

I am in love with her, I admit. The first time I saw her when I helped her with her things to put it inside her flat, I got interested with her. Somehow it grew and now I fell hard for her.

"Hey! I told you to make yourself busy. Why don't you set-up the Netflix so that you can watch. I'll follow you after this."

Her eyes narrowed, her both hands was now at her waist, like she's an older person, playfully.

I shrugged, fixing my hair with my hand. Now I'm trying so hard to become a good looking boy.

"Kim Jongin! Stop goofing around."

She's a bit pissed, but I only found that cute.

Can she do anything that will make me lessen the love I feel for her?

"Jennie, I don't want to watch a movie. I want to watch you...uhm.." I stuttered, I was lost for words when she smiled at me. Showing me a little glimpse of her gum. I know she still didn't show me her full smile, she's smiling, yes.

But she only give me a smile that never reached her eyes.

A friendly smile.

"Okay, Kai. Do whatever you want."

She got that smile and that body is to die for
One of a kind and that's why it makes me cry

She turned her back with me and started to sauté. I can hear sizzle, and I'm dreaming to hear that every single morning, lunch, and dinner with our home.

I'm sure, I want her one day, to be my wife.

Clearing my throat, I started to make a move.

"Jennie, since you don't want me to get bored, can I ask you lots of question. And that includes, personal. If that's okay with you." I want to get to know her better. We've been neighbours for a year but I know a little about her as we were both working and I'm afraid to ask her about herself.

"Are you reporter or something?" She chuckled, glancing at me over her shoulder. I tried my best to not melt at that. "But, okay. Shoot."

Her answer made me think twice and started to get nervous. I'm afraid of what will she answer to some of my queries.

"What's your favorite color?"

She stopped from what was her doing and looked at me as if I was joking.

"Your question was really nerve wrecking." She laughed again, my favorite sound of the world, "black."

I nodded and held my chin. Then fired my second question, "what's your favorite flower?"
