When Mina and Lisa left to go to the hospital, Jennie started to cry. She was hurt like hell. That she can't do anything other than cry. Pour all the pain as she sob.

She's worrying for her bestfriend. She wanted to go with them. No, actually for her, she should be the one who must bring Lisa to the hospital, stay with her all the time and take care of her. But she cannot move and think properly.

"Jen. Let's get you home." Kai helped Jennie. He gently brought her back inside his car and decided to take her at the house of the Kim's instead.

The whole ride was quietly deafening. As Kai was glancing Jennie at the passenger's seat and let her cry. And the sight was surely breaking his heart tiny into pieces.

I knew it.

I lost to a battle that never existed.

A tear rolled down to his cheek but he didn't let Jennie see it.

When they reached the Kim's place. Jennie's father came out of the house and was shocked to welcome his daughter whose make-up was ruined and sobbing painfully that broke his heart.

"Sir, I wasn't the reason." Kai defended. Mr. Kim smiled knowingly. He hugged his daughter who's still sobbing then guided them inside their house.

"I'll leave you two alone for a minute."

When Mr. Kim was out of sight, Kai moved himself closer to Jennie. His eyes now were glistened with his own tears. "You love her." He blurted. Jennie's puffy eyes glanced at him as her mouth went agape. "I'm certain."

"She's my bestfriend." She reasoned out. Kai shook his head.

"Yes, well... maybe. Partly, that's the reason. But why did it pain you so much to see her with other girl? You should at least be happy for her, instead." Kai smiled at her.

Sure, Jennie and him are always fighting and they always end, breaking-up. But he never saw Jennie so broken and hurt and.... vulnerable like this even when she saw him kissing another girl at the party they both attended.

"I can't." Jennie whispered, almost inaudible. Shaking her head, her tears began to flow freely again. She knew, Kai was right. "Kai, I'm sorry." She apologized.

This time, Kai let more tears flow again "hush, Jen. Don't be." He held Jennie's face and kissed her head. "I'm sorry for being an asshole boyfriend to you... But let me make it up to you this time." He gave Jennie a one last hug. "I'm letting you go, Jen. Not because I don't love you. But for you to be happy. Even though it's not because of me anymore."

Jennie kept her voice low, silently thanking him as Kai hugged him tight.

Jennie, surrendering to his words. She doesn't know where or how to start so she just poured all of the emotions she's feeling through crying.

"I'-I'm sorry, Kai." She sobbed.

Kai shushed her, "No, Jen. Don't feel sorry for a decision that will make you happy... Please.." Jennie nodded, "I'm going now. I'll just see you around."

Kai bid his goodbye, sadly collecting his shattered heart.

It was nice loving you, Jennie. Until then.

When Kai left, Mr. Kim gave Jennie the water and her comfort food. Her ever favorite, milk ice-cream.

"Eat first, then we'll talk later. Your mom's asleep, but we can always tell her tomorrow." Jennie nodded and dug on her ice-cream. Her sobs slowly died down. Mr. Kim let out a chuckle. "I can't believe my baby girl is a big girl now." He said, supporting his chin in his knuckles.
