And that's that folks. Many part of the stories had been rewritten or redirected to create a whole new path of story. Hopefully there won't be anymore blunders, huh?

Also, I'd like to hear your own input of the story. I'm a non-American, so its really hard to know about actual events that may or may not have been written down in Wiki or News Articles by 2009. So! As I'm using Real Life Events as a plot or as a reference for this story, perharps some of you happens to have anything in mind? Such as 2009's Detroit Plane Bombing Attempt during Christmas. Anything could work.

Or, if you have any suggestion of what plot should I go for, such as worldwide traveling, fucking up some actual countries, doing crossovers with other AUs without straying too far or making things too weird (Like the SCP Foundation, InFamous, etc), feel free. Obviously, I have my own plot in mind, but that doesn't means I can't make it even more fucked up with all these new ideas. >:D

Oh, yeah. And some clarification from yours truly regarding Ilsa. I'm not really sure whether to make her as Mercer's romantic interest or just a friend. But for now, I'm planning for them to simply get to know each other... in a more friendly manner, i mean.

Sure, this might seems a bit fishy for someone who are basically trusted enough to work in the Pentagon to suddenly 'changes sides', but, the thing is. Not a lot of soldiers these days would genuinely sacrifice themselves for their great country or generals and yadda-yadda. In most scenarios, those kind of people were usually the desperate soldiers who doesn't wants their brothers in arms to die in critical situations, or when the mission is REALLY that important. You don't see a lot of people running in the open screaming 'BANZAIII FOR THE GREAT AMERICAAA FOR MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY' to the Taliban while spraying their M4 rifle.

Cough, Pat Tillman.

What I'm saying is, Ilsa is one of those people. She'll take a bullet to save her friend, she'll dive to a grenade to save her unit, and she'll leave herself if that means saving others or buying precious time. But anyone sane enough would know that Mercer is so much of a wild card its just not worth it trying to take on an enemy that is so dangerous and unknown in nature recklessly. Even if she were to tell or warn everyone and get killed in the process, it wouldn't stop Mercer at all.

I mean, if you live in the same universe as Mercer and played Prototype, do you really think he could be defeated in a conventional warfare without him getting the upper hand literally most of the time? That is if they get him into an actual war scenario. if its a city like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago. Heavy ordinances like Tomahawk Missiles that might actually put a number on him means high chance of collateral damage for their side, and other complications would arise.

One or two city bombed to oblivion, 'Acceptable losses'. Half of the country devastated by missiles and let's say experimental upgrade of Bloodtox or Whitelight that might have negative side effect on not only the people but the environment and might cause centuries worth of damage?

Yeah, won't be surprised if every nation in the world decided to launch their entire nuclear payload together on North America just to kill Alex while praying that he won't reach the other continents.

Yeah, go thank Ilsa for not going 'I MUST WARN EVERYONE DESPITE THE DANGERS' or 'REEEEEE HELPPP COMMANDER-KUNNN'.

No chaos for now.

Second, oh, sure. She loves her country, that's also the reason why she will actually work with Mercer. For what purpose and reason? Next chapter.

Hint? Fuck off lmaoooo-

Three, did she seriously just forgot that he had located her family in more-or-less two hours after he left? Nah, she's scared for their safety, but Mercer is indeed a man of his word... or a virus, in his case. Again, do I have to remind everyone that she and the others are neither Blackwatch nor Gentek? It would honestly be less-frustrating and time-consuming just to kill her, but he's trying to change to some degree.

Just because someone is an asshole or at the wrong place at the wrong time does not means that Mercer or Damian should revoke their license to exist unless they pushed too far.

At the same time, Unclassified showed you just how hard it actually is if you didn't go with the easy way. Which is consuming Isla and just bailing out from Pentagon while everyone is unaware. Its like trying to sober up from smoking, getting drunk or using drugs. It simply takes much, much longer to stop yourself from doing it and rehab doesn't guarantees that you will sober up or stop using these addictive substances. Not mentioning the social stigma, if Mercer just comes up in a hearing and tell everyone he wanted to change, who the hell will believe or side with him except for a few select of people like Bradley and Dana... which is practically a nobody to everyone else on earth other than being 'possible accomplice of Alex Mercer'?

Yeah, life sucks, boys and lads.

Looks like she will be the next Cross... or not. As long their goals align. And that is keeping Earth less shittier from everyone who wanted to harness Blacklight for themselves without realizing what sort of absolute fuck-up they might accidently unleash.

Untreatable variant of the black plague? Eh, maybe.... but perharps not. Ilsa is not in the position or rank to properly obtain any sort of classified intel. So I don't think that she will be able to help much unless she'll risk treason.

I guess I just wanted to make Mercer a questionable friend.

But having siblings and playing a key role in raising them, she might be able to help him with his Damianism problems...

Oh, also, Maybe once we reached the end of the story (which is problably 50+ more chapters) i could time-skip into 2016-2020. Iran General Assassination, Coronavirus, and many other events would certainly be interesting to cover as Blacklight.

Blacklight + Coronavirus mutation? Okay, that's actually going to be bad. Better not tempt fate.

Also, oh, yeah. If it hadn't been obvious enough. All three girls families are in the racketeering business.

Details? Pick up the pieces, but I promise I will explain more later on as the story progresses.
