Here's a list of ideas that I have in mind at the moment.
1. Mercer is more proactive in his rich life, getting to know his neighbors, other people and so on. Pre-Isla, he hardly got any friends or spent any time with anyone.
2. Honestly, the Pentagon infiltration was executed with clear mediocrity level writing on my part.
3. Blackwater not being in high school anymore. Don't get me wrong, the idea has its own appeals but there's so much underage theme and so on that I realized... Maybe him jumping to HS again is a bit too random.
4a. Changing the setting from Detroit to somewhere else, I plan to create the place myself.
4b. Reason for this was to create a much more fresh and also new territory for both the readers and Mercer™ to explore. I am moving the setting to Oregon.
5. Renaming the project as "Prototype: A Lifetime to Remember" because it sounds better. Maybe in my head, I don't know.
6. More glimpse on other runners lives after New York. Also more glimpses of Cross, Heller, Dana, the US government, and the likes post-New York and Gentek data leak.
7. Should I involve paranormal/supernatural stuffs without making it stray too far? Hmm.
Overall, plan stays the same. Mercer daily lives and so on. If we want to involve war and conflict, I think there's time for them in latter chapters.
No spoilers for now.
