A Day In Miami

To Find A Home

Yubelle was walking through the streets of Miami looking for a place called "Mofongo's restaurant". Yubelle was a woman of average height, long silky black hair, hazel brown eyes and light brown skin. She wore denim jeans with a white shirt and a blue sweater. she was looking at a map of Miami to find the place, she would use the GPS on her phone but, she didn't want to use her phone after last time. She was gonna meet a friend at the restaurant that she hasn't seen in a while. Not since she's moved to Japan as a 12 year-old. she looked up and tried to see if she could fin the name of the streets and coordinate them with the map.

Yubelle looked at the map again while walking and bumped into someone, thank fully the person grabbed her arm, stopping her from falling. "you should be careful, it maybe day time but the streets can still be a dangerous place" a female voice said. "Sorry, I was busy looking at the map" Yubelle responded and looked up, seeing the most exotic looking woman she's ever seen. The woman was a bit taller then her with bright red hair, porcelain skin tone and beautiful breath taking gold eyes. The woman was wearing a v-neck purple shirt with a denim skirt, a black rimmed hat on her head to block the sun.

The woman blinked seeing the map and name of a restaurant in Yubelle's hands. "Are you lost?" the woman asked. "Yeah, I'm having a hard time finding the street names on the map. I'm supposed to meet a friend there.." Yubelle responded. The woman nodded "I know the restaurant, it's a few blocks away" "really! Can you give me the directions, please?" Yubelle asked. The woman smiled "how about I walk you there. It's not far off to where I'm going". Yubelle's eyes widen "Thank you so much...uhm" The woman smiled "you can call me Tatania, Yes I was named after a anime character. What's yours?"

Yubelle and Tatania conversed as they walked. Tatania pointing out shops and telling Yubelle a few houses nearby are for sale. Both woman got along well and laughed at something Tatania said. Before long they arrived at the restaurant "thank you again for the help Tatania and for the houses you told me about" Yubelle said, smiling. "No problem, I hope Miami proves to be a good place to live at. I'll see you around Yubelle, maybe" Tatania waved at Yubelle. Yubelle waved back as she entered the restaurant and told the waitress she was with someone. 

Yubelle looked back outside just seeing the back of Tatania's red hair, who was walking back in the same direction they just came from. 'She really is kind, she could've just told me to keep waking ahead but instead, she walked me all the way to the restaurant' Yubelle thought. She looked at the back of the note where she wrote the restaurant's name, a phone number written under Tatania's name. She smiled 'I hope we see each other again, I need to thank you. After all having another friend here helps find a home'
