Previously (Toni's POV): "Then don't say anything." Penelope Blossom stated
"Mother?" Cheryl questioned
"Yes. Now follow me or so help your friends. You both should know exactly what I'm talking about." Penelope instructed.
Cheryl and I looked at eachother. I saw the look of worry in her eyes and realised what her mother meant.

Cheryl's POV:
My mother lead Toni and I into Thistlehouse, more specifically the open area around the entrance and stairs. Following behind us Veronica, Betty, Fangs, Sweetpea & Josie also came in behind us. My mother just rolled her eyes. Reggie was also there, standing on the side in the middle of both groups.
"Of course they would follow you two." She said, clearly annoyed
"Yeah well actually it's because-" I was interrupted by Toni pulling me into a short, passionate kiss. Everyone except my mother faked being shocked, hers was genuine.
"Because that" I finished

"What?" She questioned, looking super confused
We all then laughed at her response and returned to our normal expressions.
"Mother, may as well disconnect both Cheryl's and my hearing device now." Toni said
"But you have to remember. I've still got your friends." She smiled devilishly
"Oh really?" I said with a smirk

Nothing happened..
"I'm waiting?" My mother replied
"Wha-" I looked around confused
"About that..." Veronica looked down
"I happened to be there when your whole rescue scheme was taking place, so really.. you got extremely unlucky" My mother returned back to her devilishly smile
"Guys? Where is Kevin? And Archie?" Toni questioned to our group and everyone but Toni, Sweetpea, Josie and I looked down.. frowning
"Hello? Say something.." Josie squinted her eyes
"I'm.. sorry." Fangs whispered. Making it seem like both words were two separate sentences
"Reginald! Bring them.." My mother called out
Just then Reggie dragged over Kevin and Archie, both tied up. Reggie looked extremely apologetic. This wasn't what I had planned? Sister Woodhouse then stood behind them both, a gun in each of her hands held to their heads.
"Before you said anything.. we won't be harming them. Just calm down, this is if all doesn't go to plan."
"Veronica! You said they were with you?" Sweetpea shouted
"We.. needed them back." Veronica said
"SO WHY ARE THEY STILL WITH MY MOTHER?" I yelled
"Ah Cheryl.. that's because" my mother started
Just then Sheriff Keller walked in.
"Right on que.. Now move back everyone." She continued. All of our group except for the people previously mentioned once again moved back. While Sheriff Keller walked closer to me.
"What are you doing? Don't tell me.." I could barely finish a sentence before 3 more people came in. Sheriff Keller placed a pair of handcuffs on me and passed me onto one of the other officers. While the other 2 held back Sweetpea and Josie, who were both shouting various things. Meanwhile the Sheriff moved closer to Toni.

He pulled out a gun and held it to her head.
"NO! SHERIFF! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? SHOOT HER!" I yelled
"What are you waiting for Tommy? It's her or your son and his best-friend. Do it." My mother encouraged him while Sweetpea, Josie and I screamed. Archie and Kevin had their screams muffled. Toni shaking with her eyes close and kneeled on the ground. All while my mother stood there with a devilish smirk.
"Ugh.. you're hesitating too much. Don't shoot them yet Agatha, pass me the gun." She ordered.
Sheriff Keller then handed her the gun and moved back, she immediately held it to Toni's head.

"TONI!" I screamed at the top of my lungs
And pulled the trigger.

Sister Woodhouse released Kevin and Archie, and shortly after her and my mother were shot dead. I rushed to Toni's side, not caring about either of them for the moment.
"Toni.. please.. you're going to be okay please.." I took her hand into mine and the tears began flowing down
"CALL AN AMBULANCE. RIGHT THE HELL NOW YOU FUCKWITS." Sweetpea yelled at the rest of the group
I couldn't deal with my anger against them for the moment, all that mattered was Toni's safety. And then to deal with them. Did they know she was to be shot? Everyone shortly gathered around Toni as she went into the ambulance. Them all calling out their apologies as I accompanied her on the drive. While Josie and Sweetpea pushed them and yelled at them. At this point everyone had cried.
(Them being everyone but Cheryl, Toni, Sweetpea, Josie, Archie & Kevin)

After arriving at the hospital and seeing Toni's what seemed to be lifeless body wheeled away I felt alone. Almost every single one of my friends had just betrayed me, I sat down in the waiting room. I didn't know what I was waiting for, I was hoping Toni would miraculously survive with no injuries and we'd be fine to continue our lives together.. I was waiting for something to get better. Just then income every single person who was at Thistlehouse. I couldn't contain myself, seeing anyone who had caused this I couldn't stand. I was having a breakdown, my breathing sped up and Archie immediately rushed to my side, aswell as Kevin. They yelled at everyone but Sweetpea and Josie to get out. Betty, Jughead and Fangs were insistent to stay though. And for some reason, they let them.
"I just don't understand, Fangs.. Jughead.. you we're her best friends! People she trusted! And you'd go behind her back like this? Did you not trust me one bit!" I yelled with all the power I could let out of my emotional wreck of a body for the moment
"Cheryl.. we promise we had absolutely no idea your mother would do that. She had said we'd get them back on the condition we don't interfere! How were we supposed to know she was going to do that!" Jughead snapped back
"Not one of you said anything.. anything at all" I said with no emotion
"Cheryl-" Fangs tried to reason
"You're just as bad as the rest of them. We could've done it another way.." I cried
They all just frowned and sat down, not to say another word. Maybe I'd forgive them, eventually.. I know Toni would've wanted me to. But for now, all that mattered is the people that mattered to her were here for her. And that mattered to me.

A/N: Welll you made it to the end of the chapter! I hope you enjoyed this ending because I enjoyed writing it, I am always personally hoping that an ending will go like this just because it's interesting. Epilogue coming up soon! But maybe not too soon because I tend to be inconsistent..
