23. We Never Should Have Came

Previously (Toni's POV): Nobody was around, it was almost too silent. The only noise was the continuous party from downstairs. There was no trace of anything. No sign of anyone around.
"KEVIN! ARCHIE!" I called out. No response. I decided to head back downstairs and question Sweetpea about it since he was there. He said he had also seen them go upstairs but with Reggie Mantle following, then never returning downstairs. After a quick search Reggie was nowhere to be found either. How could everyone be disappearing instantly?

I rushed over and explained to Sweetpea and Fangs (who had joined Sweetpea) what had happened. They said to go tell the girls, so with them following me I repeated my explanation to Veronica, Betty & Josie. We agreed that Sweetpea, Josie and I would would go looking for Cheryl. Veronica, Betty and Fangs would go look for Archie and Kevin.

Veronica's POV:
Once the others had left the party to begin looking for Cheryl I started talking with our group.
"They had barely arrived! Why'd Toni have to go and speak to them!" I panicked
"V calm down, Cheryl is Toni's girlfriend and she had the right to be worried. Kevin and Archie also had the right to be worried about their best friend." Betty replied
"That's right. I'm sorry, it was a heat of the moment thing." I sighed
"It's fine Veronica. Let's just go upstairs." Fangs said. Toni was right, there was nothing. Almost like they were never here.
"Hey Moose, by any chance have you seen Kevin or Archie?" I asked him
"I don't think they came to the party. Shouldn't you know? Pretty sure they turned down the invite." He said
"But that's not possible they were here!" I yelled
"That's just me. Ask around." He replied and I took the advice. After asking some other annoying jocks such as Chuck Clayton they had all said they were not here either.
"I don't know what you're on but I want some" Chuck had laughed. I went to touch base with Josie and Fangs because it had been some time.
"Guys Kevin and Archie were definitely here right?" I asked
"Yeah. We saw them both." Betty said
"They came over at a point, why?" Fangs replied
"All the jocks are saying that they never arrived." I explained
"Well ask another clique?" Fangs suggested
"Okay.." I walked over to a bank geek who for some reason was out at a party. "Hey, listen. Have you seen a roughly tall boy, orange hair, faded freckles, abs-" I trailed off
"Yes. I don't need your description." She faked gagged
"Okay well thanks" I shrugged and walked back over to my friends. "They were definitely here."
"We been knew. You're just wasting time, they're obviously not here now so let's just go." Fangs stated and we all followed his way out.

Kevin's POV:
"They're obviously not here now so let's just go." I heard Fangs say in the live recording they played and mentally facepalmed. I love him but that was such a mistake, Reggie did do a good job covering his tracks though. Archie and I were nowhere to be found. Yet we were really just chained in a low-lit room in the basement room of the party house.

Toni's POV:
We were about to arrive at Thistlehouse when we revived a call from Veronica.

"What's up?"
"We've left the party. Recommendations on where to go?"
"Pops, their houses maybe? Ask their parents?"
"Okay yeah that's smart. Sorry I called, I'm panicking."
"I know, Fangs texted me what you said" I laughed
"Sorry! Bye, goodluck."
"Bye, goodluck to you too." I hung up

"They have any luck?" Josie asked
"Nope" I replied
Sweetpea sighed and exited the car. "Let's just focus on Cheryl so Toni doesn't cry for the rest of her life." Sweetpea teased
"Shut up she's literally missing smartass." I punched his arm lightly

"Ms Blossom?" I knocked on the door repeatedly
"Ugh, it's you. What." She rolled her eyes when saying 'you'
"Have you seen Cheryl?" Sweetpea asked
"Of course you brought another one of your scrawny friends, no I haven't. Isn't she staying with the Keller boy?" She questioned
"We've been told you dragged her away." Josie stated
"If I did or didn't it is none of your business. Goodnight." She also slammed the door before I briefly pushed it back open
"Don't you care that she's missing!" I said
"She is not missing. She is.. healing. Now as I said, goodnight." She slammed the door shut.

"Healing from what?" Sweetpea thought
"Is she at the hospital?" Josie said
"Oh my god what if it's to do with her Nana." I stressed and rushed into the car to drive to the hospital.

Penelope's Phone Call POV:
"How stupid can they be." I laughed at the conversation I had heard through the window
"You would think the Topaz girl would get it." ??? laughed back
"She's dating my daughter. I don't think she gets anything."
"Well how's she doing at the sisters?"
"I don't think the treatment phase has begun yet but we don't have to worry. Topaz seems like she won't find her for atleast a good week."
"Everything's going to plan."
"I know. Goodbye." I hung up

Cheryl's POV:
"Get up you little shit!" Sister Woodhouse commanded
"Sister Woodhouse ple-" I tried kneeling but she instead whacked me with the belt once again. This time it hit my lip, it began bleeding heavily.
"Lift these bags into that corner over there, if you're going to be in a relationship with a women then you'll have to do the mans job. Except, there is no plan to be in a relationship with a women. So just do the job." She whacked my already bloody leg once more before leaving.

I had to get out of here.
