...Darkness....That's all I was seeing up until now. I don't know where I am or where I even was a few minutes ago. I just know that I'm staring into nothing. I also couldn't move much. But, I still tried to feel my way around. "....Am I in some sort of coffin?" I thought to myself. I probably should start to feel agitated right now but this isn't the first time I've been trapped...... But I don't think I was ever trapped into a coffin before. "Well there's always a first time for everything" I thought. I tried to remember how I got here in the first place but all I remember was a mirror, being in a dark forest, a carriage and a scary looking horse... But other than that, nothing else. However I did not lose any of my past memories... Though I kinda wish I did expect for the good one's...Oh well...
"Crap! People are coming. Gotta get a uniform while..." Huh? Was there someone else here with me? Though I don't know if the voice is from inside this coffin or outside. "Ugh!! This lid's too heavy!!" It sounded like the voice of a boy. Is he trying to open this coffin? I kinda doubt that he could be able to open it, it looks really heavy. "I guess it's time for...my secret move!"...Okay, this was fun while it lasted, but now it's the time to panic. "Gwaahuuh~~~There!" Then there was a blast of something hot, perhaps fire? I'm not sure. Then the lid was opened and the first thing I see.... Is a cat? Or maybe a raccoon? Maybe a combination of both? "Okay, okay. Gotta get...Whaaaa! Why are you up!?" Seems like he noticed me. "Hmm. Never thought I'd see the day where I would be talking to a raccoon." I honestly was kinda surprised but this got kinda interesting.
"Hey!! Just who are you calling a raccoon!! I am the Great Grim!" The raccoon yelled, obviously frustrated.
Now that I adjusted my eyesight I can see that the cat has blue flames in its ears, a pitchfork as its tail, a white chest fur and a black and white ribbon around it's neck with... trimmed or burned tips. Well this cat is sure unique.
"Well, whatever. Hey you! Human!" He must be speaking to me.....Of course he's speaking to me, I dont see any other humans around here!
"Hurry up and give me those clothes!! Otherwise....I'll roast ya!!" My clothes? Why does he want them? But when I look down I realize that I'm not in my normal attire but in some kind of ceremonial robe or something like that.

(....Now that I look at it I realize that he's right hand is shorter that his left hand. Also sorry that the photo is vertical.)
Suddenly he started throwing balls of blue flames at me, but I easily dogged them. "Well if you want this clothes you gotta catch me first!!" I said before running out of the room in a flash.
After running for some minutes I ended up in what looked like a library. There were also some flying books around. It's a pretty cool library if you ask me. While I was looking around the library, the cat arrived. "Ha! Did you really think you'd get away from my nose? Dumb human!" Well I would have gotten away from your nose if I didn't stop to look around. "Now if you don't want to get roasted, better hand over-" But before he finished he's sentence, a loud whipping sound interrupted him. "Buwah!? Ow! What's with this rope?" I would like to know to.
"This is no mere rope. It is a lash of love" Hmm I don't know about that but it at least it stopped the cat from roasting me. But now that I think about it, who was the one talking right now? When I looked at the owner of this 'lash of love', I saw a man with a crow mask and top hat. He sure looked fancy.
"Ah, found you at last. Are you one of the new students?" He asked. "Hm? Student?" I mumbled and titled my head. "You shouldn't do things like that! Leaving the Gate on your own!" Not like I had any choices though. "Not only that, you have yet to tame your familiar which has broken a number of school rules." Huh, so I'm in a school. That kinda explains a few things. "Let me go! I'm not their freakin' familiar!" He yelled in frustration. "Aww, that hurt you know" I said in a sad tone but truthfully I was hurt just a bit. "Sure, sure. The rebellious ones always say things like that. Just quiet down for a moment." The man said seeming to not have heard what I just said. "Mmmmfh!!" The man then presided to cover the little guy's mouth with his gloved hands. "My goodness. It's unprecedented for a new student to leave the Gate on their own. Uuuggh...How impatient can you be?" Again, it wasn't my decision for that coffin to open.
"The entrance ceremony is already well under way. Let's head to the Hall of Mirrors." Said the man "..New student?" I asked in confusion. "It's the room you woke up in with all of the doors. All students who wish to attend this academy must pass through one of those doors to arrive here. Normally, students wake up only after the door is opened with a special key but..." I guess it's time to speak up. "Oh! Must have been the fire that has blown off the lid." I told the man with a smile and he sighs then speaks again. "So in the end the culprit appears to be this familiar. If your going to bring it with you, you have to take responsibility and properly take care of it." Honestly, I did feel like it was my fault that this disaster happened but what's done is done now.
"Oh my! Now isn't the time to be long winded. The entrance ceremony will soon come to a close. Let's get a move on." Then the man begin to walk and I followed him. While walking I realized that I still don't know the man's name. "Um excuse me sir. But can I know who you are and where I am exactly, please?" I asked him politely. "What's this? Are you still dazed? It appears the teleportation magic has left you disoriented..." Teleportation magic? What else is there to learn now? "Well, it is fine it happens often enough. I shall give you an explanation as we make our way there. For I am gracious." I feel I'm going to be hearing that more than I would like to.
We then walked out at the what looks like a courtyard. Still following behind the man I can still see him holding onto Grim, I think that was his name, while he starts to explain.
"Ahem. This is Night Raven College. Those magicians blessed with a unique aptitude for magic gather from all around the world, here at the most prestigious magical academy in Twisted Wonderland. And I am the headmaster, appointed to take care of this academy by the board chairman, Dire Crowley." "Magicians huh?" I asked wanting him to explain further. "Only those magicians seen as worthy by the Dark Mirror can attend this school. Chosen ones use the Gate are summoned here from around the world. An Ebony Carriage carrying a Gate should have gone to meet you as well." Hmm maybe it did. My head is having a bad headache, perhaps it really was the teleportation magic that made me forget, but..
"I think I do remember going through a dark forest and a scary looking horse." But that's all. "The Ebony Carriage goes to welcome new students chosen by the Dark Mirror. They are special carriages that carry the doors to the academy. The market decided long ago that carriages are used to welcome people on special days." " So what your trying to say is that the carriage brought me here on it's own, right?" I was expecting an answer until Grim tried to say something, but because he had he's mouth covered, the only thing that came out were only muffled noises. "Come now. Let's go to the entrance ceremony " Crowley said, ignoring my question and moving ahead. I guess I need to find out more in this ceremony. I have a feeling that things are going to get exciting from now on.
