"Lastly, we dust the top with powdered sugar..." Trey instructed as he lightly dusted the tarts with the powdered sugar. Soon, we were...
"Finished!" Grim, Ace and me cheered.
"Finished..." Deuce mumbled. Wow, the chicks really got to him.
"Did something happen while you were out shopping?" Ace nudged me as he whispered.
"Chick shock..." I whispered back.
"For 16 years, I believed that..." Deuce looked away, embarrassed. Poor Deuce.
"Making sweets takes so much time. I'm exhausted..." Ace sighed in exhaustion. Then, the doors of the kitchen opened to reveal Cater. He stepped inside as he looked at the tarts.
"Good work~ Is the tart finished? The decorations look super cute!" Cater chimed on how the tarts looked. He then took out his phone.
"It's totally Magicame-gramable! Let me take a pic." Cater then took some shots of the tart.
"Ah! What'd you come here for?" Ace asked, suspiciously.
"I came to check on my cute underclassmen, working so hard. Ahaha, you look beat!" Cater chuckled as he looked at us.
"Things you aren't used to tire you out quick. So when you're tired you need to eat something sweet." Trey explained and soon he gestured at the extra tarts that we made.
"Go ahead and try the mont blanc we made."
"Yaay!" We all cheered. I took some plates and forks and Trey served them.
"Cater, you did come here just in time to eat the tart!" Ace exclaimed as he got his slice.
"You can just think of me as the taste-tester." Cater chuckled as he also got his slice.
"Waaahaaa... It smells so deliciously sweet. The chestnuts on top are glossy while the cream underneath is so fluffy! Let's eat!" Grim beamed as he digged into the tart. Soon everyone did the same.
"Holy crap!" Ace exclaimed in surprise.
"So good!" Cater chimed at how the tart tasted.
"Amazing, it's like what you get in stores." Deuce stated, also surprised by how the tart tasted.
"It's not overly sweet but still has richness to it! It's like a garden of chestnuts in my mouth!" Grim beamed.
"Is that a compliment?" Trey chuckled at Grim.
"Yummy!" I beamed at the taste of the Mont blanc.
"Oh yeah. Hey, Trey, do the thing." Cater said as he nudged at Trey.
"The thing?... Aah, that." Trey nodded.
"That?" Ace asked as he tilted his head.
"What are you favorite foods?" Trey asked us.
"Mine's cherry pie and hamburgers." Ace replied.
"My number one is canned tuna. And cheese omurice, and grilled meat and pudding~" Grim answered.
"If I have to pick, omurice, I guess." Deuce shrugged.
"And mine is grilled lamb with diablo sauce." Cater said.
"What about you, Yuu? What's your favorite food?" Ace asked me.
"Hmm... if I had to choose I have to say dorayaki!" I replied.
"What's that? It sounds tasty!" Grim beamed.
"Hehe~ I will show you when I have time." I promised to Grim. Trey nodded.
"Alright, here we go..."
"Doodle Suit!"
"...? This is?" Deuce wondered.
"Now take another bite of the mont blanc." Trey instructed us as we did so.
"Hm? Hmmmmm? This is... mont blanc but it tastes like cherry pie!" Ace was shocked by the tarts change of taste.
"It tastes like canned tuna!" Grim then took another bite.
"Ohh, now it's cheese omurice!" Then he took another bite.
"And grilled chicken, munch munch, and pudding!"
"Isn't it fun? If you did this while having tea with a girl, they'd be super impressed!" Cater chimed.
"Mhm! What do you think Yuu?" Ace asked me but...
"So good! Yummy!" I was too distracted by the taste to notice my surroundings.
3rd POV
The black-haired boy was so distracted by the taste of the tart, he didn't notice the faces and thoughts that everyone was having.
"There's only one word to describe this... Cute!" Everyone thought.
