Prologue Part 13: Reconsideration Miracle!

Yuuto's POV

We soon arrived at Night Raven College and it was a good thing we did. Why? Because Crowley was gonna gonna lock the Mirror Chamber soon. After explaining him where we were, he was caught off guard.
"Eh!? You really went to Dwarfs' Mine to find a magic crystal?" Did he think we wouldn't?
"Huh!?" The four of us were confused.
"I really didn't think...You'd not only go but then come back with a crystal in hand. I quietly completed the paperwork for your expulsion." I would have been surprised if it was someone else, but since we're talking about Crowley, I kinda expected him to do something like this.

"Nnga! The nerve of this guy! While we were off fighting some crazy beast!" Grim said, frustrated and annoyed by Crowley.
"Beast?" Crowley curiously asked.
"There was a monster there! It was super gross and crazy strong, it was awful!" Ace told Crowley.
"Could you explain in more detail?" Crowley asked.

We soon explained what happened in the Mine to Crowley as we were going to Crowley's office.
"Hoh hoohh. A mysterious monster living in the coal mine. The four of you worked together to defeat it and bring back a magic crystal?" Crowley asked.
"We didn't really work together...." Ace said.
"It was more like our goal were aligned..." Deuce added. And then, something that I didn't expect happened.

"OOOOOOOOOHHH*Sob* *sob* *sob*" Crowley was crying.... I have no words. I went up to him and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Come on Mr. Crowley. Don't cry so much." I said calmly. This seemed to calm him down a bit.
"What's with this guy? Why is an adult bursting into tears!?" Grim asked in surprise.
"In all these years that I've been headmaster... For the day to come that students from Night Raven College go hand in hand to face and defeat their enemy!" Crowley exclaimed.
"What!? I did not hold this guys hand!" Deuce stuttered out.
"I would never do that, gross! But headmaster, how old are you!?" Ace asked.

"Pfft..ahaha!" I laughed, struggling to stop doing so. I was picturing Ace and Deuce, holding hands and running towards the sunset. A sight to be seen, you could say.
"What are you laughing about!?" Ace asked, starting to get mad.
"N-Nothing...hehe" I said, still struggling to stop laughing.

"I am overwhelmed with emotion. This incident confirms it." I then remove my hand from Crowley's shoulder as he turns in my direction.
"Mr. Tachibana. Without a doubt, you have a talent as a beast tamer!" I blinked at what he said.

"A beast tamer?" I asked in confusion.
"Students of Night Raven College are budding wizards called here by the Dark Mirror. However, they are of a superior class that makes them prideful and egotistical people that have not even the slightest inkling to work with others. Making many of them selfish and self-centered." Crowley said. I doubt that he realizes that he just burned his students. But, he ain't half wrong about that.
"You're really not saying anything good." Grim commented.

"You cannot use magic. But, maybe, precisely because you cannot use magic means that you give instructions to wizards and get them to cooperate. Perhaps that mediocrity is exactly what this school needs right now!" Crowley exclaimed.
"He's not saying anything nice is he!?"Ace asked.
"I have no doubt that your existence is essential to the future of this academy. So says my educator-senses." Crowley then turned to the guys.
"Trappola. Spade. Along with rescinding your expulsion I shall give you the qualifications to attend Night Raven College as a student!"

"Eh!?" The guys gasped.
"Huh? Even though I can't use magic?" I just asked, surprised.
"Yes. For I am exceedingly gracious." Should have seen that last line coming.
"But, there is one condition." I got kinda nervous now.

"You cannot use magic. Becoming a wizard is out of question. You probably will not be able to complete all your lessons. That is why, Grim." Crowley turned to Grim.
"You have proven to me that you possess enough talent to become a wizard. Therefore, I shall allow the two of you to enroll together, as one student." By that, Grim was in a loss for words.
