"You're the cutest." Kindaichi passionately said.

He deeply meant it... how was he so lucky to have someone this close to him since middle school. He thought he wouldn't make any friends but Kunimi always stayed by his side. What he said sure sounded in his normal monotone voice but he meant it, he just wanted to shower him with love and smush his face with kisses, wanted to always wake up to his peaceful face and give back hugs when he's cooking.

"Am not..." Kunimi muttered shyly.

"Yes." he corrected. He smiled at him and held his hands.

"I love the way your hands fit in mine, Love the way my body fits so snug when I hug you from behind, Love the way—"

"Stop being so corny you idiot, not of that is true!!" Kunimi exclaimed flustered.

Trying to remove his hands he wouldn't budge.

  "But I mean it..." he said with a frown. "I love you so much Kunimi, possibly more than myself!"  He then exclaimed brightly.

  "Please don't, I love you too but make sure you love yourself as much as you love me."

  "Okay, my love." He whispered knowing that Kunimi wouldn't know how to react to such a nickname.

  "I told you to stop saying such sappy things!!"

  "I don't care what you say, I mean it dearly and it doesn't matter if it sounds cliché." He again said passionately. Then snaking his hands around Kunimi's waist.

  "Kindaichi-..."

  "I  JUST LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!" He suddenly exclaimed out of nowhere.

  Kunimi was frightened by the sudden outburst.

  Ignoring his little shock, Kindaichi continued giving kisses all over his face, mostly his cheek every time he had said "so."

  "Yuu stop calm down please!" He said while laughing

  He hadn't known what happened, possibly Kindaichi just felt more affectionate this day and way more bright. But apart from being so lovey-dovey today, he was of course grateful for having his boyfriend always by his side and always letting him known that he was loved.

  "I can't help it! Akira you're the best thing that has ever happened to me, you have the cutest laugh and have the softest hair that has your signature smell, people might just see you as someone who's unaffectionate and always bored but they don't know you like I do."

"I know, you're the only one that can see in such a way, no one else..."

"Yeah, cause I take the special place as your boyfriend," Kindaichi said proudly with a grin.

"Mhmm now don't go flaunting about to everyone." he then said while giggling.

  "But come on everyone needs to know your mine somehow." Kindaichi protested

  "That's true but I am pretty sure everyone knows that we're together,  before we were even dating people always assumed that we were together, and called us 'couple goals' which made us awkward back then," Kunimi stated while chuckling at the memory.

"Yeah! I remember so clearly! but now we are actually together and people still call us cute and tell us we look great together." Kindaichi then said.

   "They call us cute together because you're the cute one in our relationship," Kunimi said while looking at Kindaichi's dead in the eyes.

  Kindaichi's heart skipped a beat, what was he saying? Obviously, Kunimi was the cute one in the relationship, he couldn't think of anyone besides to compete with his boyfriend's cuteness.

  "NO, YOU ARE!!" Kindaichi then shouted knocking where he and Kunimi were once sitting.  They were now laying on the hard wooden floor.

  "Kunimi how can you think of such a lie?!"

  Before Kunimi can even respond Kindaichi then abruptly answered-

  "Kunimi, you're the epitome of perfection and cuteness! And clearly, I don't represent that so you have no right to call me cute because you have that taken already." He said with a pout.

  "You onion-headed idiot you know that perfection is a strong word..." Kunimi then snapped.

  "Yeah, and you're exactly that, and I don't take criticism. And don't call me onion head, I don't like it!"

  "Whatever, now carry me to bed and give me cuddles and kisses." He said in a monotone.

  "Already on it!!" Kindaichi said in a happy tone. Carrying his tiny bf bridal-style to bed.
