Kunimi still has frequent nightmares, but he doesn't fret as much because he knows that the person he loves is always going to be by him.

"Kin...please don't leave I'm sorry! I NEED YOU-!" Kunimi shouted in desperation, he tried to grasp the older boy but all it ended up of him pushing him away.

"No Kunimi, I don't feel like you love me the same as I do." Kindaichi exasperated, pushing his arm away again, "I care about you a lot, but it's not the same when all you do is sit back." Kindaichi deadpanned.

"I'm sorry I promise I'll do something about it!" Kunimi begged grabbing his bicep once again.

"NO! Stand back!" He pushed the shorter boy away till he hits the floor. Scowling at the him when his eyes widened.

"I know you're just saying that out of a pity. I know that you'll never like me the same, I know you'll only see me as a friend." Kindaichi looked down as he muttered his feelings.

"Please Yuutarou give me another chance!" Kunimi wept, tears starting to prick at his waterline.

"No Kunimi, I gave you many fighting chances, I'm done with you and you're selfish behaviour," Kindaichi whispered, loudly enough to make the other boy hear.

Hearing his final words till he left, Kunimi felt worthless, he truly regretted his actions, Kindaichi really did care about him, but it was him who acted carelessly, but all he could do now is just watch the older boy leave him in the dirt...

Kunimi woke up with a jerk, getting up gasping heavily, he looked to his side—and, thank god, Kindaichi was still there, relaxing knowing that it was a dream he sighed, letting his tears fall freely, staring off to space.

After a few minutes of daydreaming and calming down a bit more, he felt his head ache a bit so he laid back down on his pillow, spooning the older boy next to him in order to feel better.

After a few minutes, Kindaichi could still faintly hear the sniffles behind his back, this drove him to wake up, eyes still trying to open, trying and trying until he finally got up.

Kindaichi raised an eyebrow seeing Kunimi curled up next to him, eyes and nose red from weeping. Then it snapped, Kunimi was crying.

"Hey, baby are you alright?" He asked turning around and cupping his face, worry being evident in his voice.

Kunimi's heart fluttered at his concern, he knew he cared about him...he knew that he truly loved him, that dream just got his feelings and emotions mixed up.

"I'm fine now Kin," Kunimi reassured, smiling with a bit of tears still in his eyes.

"Another nightmare?" He questioned quietly, feeling sympathetic about his boyfriend.

Kunimi nodded, tears being pushed more out of his eyes, he leaned against his boyfriend's chest, listening to his heartbeat.

Kindaichi stroked his hair, grabbing a tissue from the side of his nightstand table.

"Let me see angel." He asked in his sweet gumdrop voice-only reserved in times like this.

Kunimi's heart fluttered once again, looking up at his boyfriend and closing his eyes as he softly wiped his tears. The tissue then travelled to his nose.

"Blow."

Kunimi did and then Kindaichi threw the tissue away. He then got up to get him a cup of water, Kunimi finally relaxed to the fullest, leaning his back against the headboard, and replaying the scenes that just happened. His hearting racing in doing so.

He pulled his knees to his chest and rested his head on them until he came back, when he did he fed him the remaining water till he finished the cup, and then put it to the side.

Both males got back in their covers and Kindaichi immediately wrapped his arms around the shorters waist and said in his same irresistible sweet voice.

"Mind explaining what you saw?" He asked stroking his hair once again.

Kunimi knew that if he'd explain he would start to cry again, but he also knew that Kindaichi will make him feel better with his magical words and voice.

"I had a nightmare that you were just done with me, you said you felt like I didn't love you the same, you were mad and pushed me away when I tried to apologize." The shorter whispered all his feelings hoarsely, trying yet again not to cry.

Kindaichi listened intently, still stroking his hair to stop him from shaking so considerably. He was patient with the younger boy and took everything he said to heart.

When Kunimi was done explaining he looked up at the older boy hesitant to hear his response after being silent for a while.

"Oh baby don't you worry, I'm not going anywhere." He smiled at the shorter boy.

Hearing that alone made his mood enlighten immensely, a tear almost falling until Kindaichi wiped that away before it could even drop.

  "I've known you for a while Kunimi, I know you're more reserved, I know that you're different and quieter than others, I've known all these things from the beginning, and because of this I'm not going to be going anywhere because this is the way I've always known you." Kindaichi poured cupping Kunimi's face once again to comfort him.

  "I also know that you don't show affection often, and I'll always be the one who initiated things." He explains more smiling at him.

  "But that's bad, it's my fault for not caring about you and letting you do everything, I'm a bad boyfriend." Kunimi whimpered and shoved his face in his boyfriend's chest.

  "What are you saying?! Of course you aren't." He quickly informed. "This is how I know you so it's okay, trust me." He clarified "You being with me is all I need."

  Kunimi's heart fluttered for the last time that night, Kindaichi kept on whispering sweet things into his ear until he relaxed to the fullest again, his mind was on cloud nine letting his shoulders fall into the other male's chest.

  When Kindaichi was done, he'd seen Kunimi's half-asleep peaceful face and he whispered.

  "Thank you, Yuutarou you always know how to make me feel better."

  "You're welcome angel, now let's go sleep it's late," Kindaichi said finally, kissing the younger's forehead and listening to his soft breathing until he slept soundly.
