Grief from the past

The speed with which Emanuel put me back down was rather impressive. I was back upright in half a second and another second later Emanuel was taking three steps away from me, lifting an arm for scratching his head. His eyes flicked all around to anywhere but at Copia.

Obviously, she couldn't take him, but he could tell a fierce temper was behind those almond eyes, and it wasn't his first time receiving it. Copia turned her head to survey everyone here and then took hard steps up the stairs, angrily swinging her arms beside her, till she reached Neta.  She whispered harshly to Netarute and then she walked into the house.

I blinked, Copia watching Mira disappear into the kitchen after her. I blinked again, speechless. I had so many thoughts in my head before remember the way Neta and Emanuel reacted when they saw each other? I'd never seen Netarute look this way. She was visibly hurt by what Copia had said.

"Ah- we'll see ya on Monday, Katiyah," Emanuel muttered. I turned and looked at the boys.

"Yeah. Thanks for coming." I could tell they wanted to say bye to Netarute, but

I left the boys to their departure, taking Mira by the hand, and led her back into the house. Copia had quickly maneuvered upstairs.

Netarute followed my lead as I began picking up glasses and carrying them into the kitchen. Mira slipped upstairs after Copia saying she was going to talk to her. In silence, I and Netarute continued to clean. I was blowing out the tiki torches when Netarute caved. She sank down on the back steps. Her hand covering her face and she shook her head moments later. I made my way to her ready to offer comfort at any moment. Once I was snug in my spot on the porch I waited for her to talk.

"Copia didn't speak to me for a week after I slept with him," she said with a heavy sigh. I wasn't exactly surprised.

"Didn't he come home with all three of you?" I asked.

"Yes, bu- So we wanted some fun after the break up. The house was too stuffy with old memories and sad vibe." Eventually, she removed her hands and her eyes glanced over me with a once over and took my hands in her hands. She played with my fingertips, sliding her fingertips and long nails over my skin. My body shivered in response. My eyes fully on her, gazing at the side of her head.

"He is the bouncer at Lace Bound and after all of us had a couple of drinks. Mira came up with the idea of screwing Emanuel's head. We were all totally for it. Playing around with a mans dick only to leave him unsatisfied for the night. So we brought him home... We all needed a change on atmosphere in the house." She sighed and scoffed at her thoughts still drawing circles on my fingers as if I was the one that needed comfort.

"We all were touching him and flirting but non of us took it any further but he was a great sport." After Mira and Copia had passed out she unconsciously talked to Emanuel about all her troubles and her comforted her exactly the way she needed. She let Emanuel undress her. And one thing turned into another. "I don't think I let myself deal with Sandra's leaving. I know it sounds weird but I needed something that didn't remind me of her. You know?" Only then did she meet my eyes with her vulnerable child-like brown irises.

"Definitely, people grief and different ways, and to be open about that and not feel ashamed and just let yourself do what you need to do is the most important," I said shifting my hand to cover hers. Watching this child spirit emerge wanting comfort. "Copia is hurt but Mira will tell her nothing happened. She'll cool her head later.

"Exactly." She went on to tell me that Emanuel was, surprisingly, very good in bed. And when she sent him on his way and returned to the bedroom, Copia was awake.
