My second album. I had finally recorded my second album all while on tour. It was just like I had seen in the 1D: This Is Us Movie. Waking up at all hours to record after 30 minutes of sleep following a show. Lots and lots of caffeine, The tracks included Adore You and Someone You Loved, the singles I had put out this past year and tonight was the album release. I was doing an instagram livestream for the countdown to Midnight from my bunk in the bus. It seemed like every other comment was asking me if I could bring Louis and his band on the livestream, but I didn't mind. I had been in their shoes just a couple years ago. At the stroke of Midnight, my new single started playing from my speaker to the livestream. It was a duet with Louis and I was so excited to share it with the world.
The next night in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, I walked toward the front of the stage into the light from the back where it was dark as I began to sing, microphone is hand, stepping slowly with the beat. "It's like, he doesn't hear a word I say, His mind is somewhere far away, and I don't know how to get there," Louis began to walk toward the front of the stage as I had. "It's like, all he wants is to chill out, (She's so serious) He makes me want to pull all of my hair out, (She's always in a rush and interrupting) Likehe doesn't even care (Like she doesn't even care)" Finally when he got to me, we both moved around the stage in sync with the music, not so much dancing as running around to the beat, letting the music carry us. They were so supportive and even the few "haters" didn't get to me because I knew the truth; that I was unapologetically in love with Louis William Tomlinson and he was unapologetically in love with me. "(She's always tryin' to save the day) (Just wanna let my music play) (She's all or nothing) (But my feeling's never change)" Louis found himself up on a platform while I was down on the stage. The love of my life was singing out to the crowd with a big beautiful grin on his face. "Why does he try to read my mind? I sang two more songs before bowing and leading my band off the stage.

Katie was waiting for me when I got back to my dressing room. She was about four months along with a small bump showing. I promised to hug her once I had taken shower and gotten out of my concert garb and hair. "I'll meet you in the box, go watch your fiancé." I teased, rushing off to the bathroom that was connected to my dressing room to shower and get into new clothes. Once I had showered and changed into my new clothes, security escorted me to the box where Katie and my parents were sitting. It had only been a few weeks, but it felt like forever since I had seen them. Katie was getting married in just a two days and I had missed out on so much of the fun while I was on tour. For my wedding gift to Niall and Katie, I had booked them a mini-honeymoon for two nights at The Setai hotel on Miami Beach with an ocean view. They weren't able to take a real honeymoon because of the tour but I wanted to make sure Katie at least got a small taste of married life before Niall was swept away from her for weeks again. I hugged my parents and Katie before my parents were taken back to their house in the limousine I had requested for them. I knew they didn't really care about One Direction and had mostly come to support me so I didn't put up a fight when they left early. After the concert tonight, Louis and I would be riding in a big black SUV back to my parents house where we would be staying for the remainder of the week. Louis was intent on introducing himself to my parents even after I tried to talk him out of it because of the mishaps of recent. He just kept telling me he had to make it right with them if I was going to be with him forever. I didn't argue, I just prayed my dad didn't rip Louis limb from limb at two o'clock in the morning when we arrived.
