As the fireworks died down after the show, the lights in the park still dim and the music coming to an end, I turned to my boyfriend who had been at my side the entire night. Only, he wasn't stood next to me with his son on his shoulders like he had been a minute ago.

I turned further to look for him and I gasped loudly at the sight before me. Freddie was stood holding hands with Liam as Harry held his phone out to take a video.

Louis and Niall were each knelt down on one knee. Louis had pulled this stunt on my birthday, but something in me told me this wasn't a joke like last time.

"Cassidy Jane Harris," Louis looked like he was on the brink of tears. "I asked your father for his blessing last night over Skype because I know he means so much to you. You make the world stop spinning every time I look at you. You care for my son like he is your own even though you have no responsibility toward him. Most importantly, you laugh at all of my terrible, terrible jokes." I tried to hold back tears so I wouldn't ruin my makeup, but I was losing the battle. "I am realizing now that I am much better at writing and singing these types of things than saying them." He chuckled, his eyes bright, making me giggle a little. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes!" I didn't hesitate or stop to think for even a moment, crashing into him in a hug, kissing him passionately. When I finally broke away, Louis smiled up at me with tears in his eyes as he slid the ring onto my finger. He sat on the ground with me in his lap with the biggest smile on his face.

The platinum band fit perfectly around my finger as I admired the beautiful ring. It looked incredibly expensive and I silently hoped Louis hadn't spent too much on it. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Katie screaming, "Yes!"

Niall stood up and embraced her tightly before slipping the ring on her finger.

"You two share everything," Louis whispered into my ear. "Now you share an engagement day."

I brought my new fiancee into another embrace before calling for Freddie to join us in a group hug. Harry stopped filming finally and came over to congratulate both myself and Louis and Katie and Niall with Liam.

"Are you gonna be my mummy now?" Freddie asked innocently. He hadn't seen Brianna in months and it was doubtful he'd see her ever again with her life sentence. I made a decision then and there.

"No, Freddie. I will never replace your mom." I held the little boy's hand in my own. "But I'm going to do my best to be the best step-mother you could ever ask for. Okay?"

"Okay." He smiled and hugged me tight, tears threatening to fall once again. Niall and Katie interrupted us as they rushed over to show off Katie's ring, asking to see mine as well.

Katie showed off her ring with pride. "He asked my dad and my brothers and everything, even little Morgan!" She was giddy like a child, nearly bouncing off the ground. She was completely smitten with Niall, there was no doubt. She had been waiting for this moment ever since she had found out she was pregnant, praying that their baby wouldn't be born out of wedlock at the very least.

Congratulations were exchanged between us all before Jeremy our guide escorted us back to the bungalow. Freddie passed out on his pullout bed as soon as we reached the bungalow before Louis and I could even change him into pajamas. Harry and Katie were right behind him in falling asleep. We were all exhausted from the long day of travel and fun.

Louis and I stayed up a few more hours to talk about our engagement and what it meant. We talked about how even though we were moving a little fast, we were both ready and completely committed. We talked about where we would live once tour was over.

Louis was capable of comfortably affording two houses, one in Miami and one in London so that we could both be near our families during at least part of the year. He didn't really get my joke when I called us "snow birds" but I decided to explain it later.

Eventually we got on the topic of Freddie, which lead to the topic of future children. "I don't think I'm ready for kids of my own yet. Freddie is amazing, but I'm still only 21."

"I understand." Louis nodded, though I could sense a hint of sadness. "I've always wanted a big family. Brothers and sisters for Freddie."

"I'm an only child and I turned out just fine." I teased, tracing the contours of his exposed abdomen. "But I do want Freddie to have at least one sibling."

"He's already six... They won't really be able to play together even if we had one now." Louis said thoughtfully, drawing shapes on my hip again.

"Maybe in a year or two." I countered, trying to find a middle-ground. I kissed Louis' forehead before cuddling in closer to him to lay my head against his chest, feeling his arms wrap around me protectively.

"As long as you're happy, love." He kissed my temple and settled into the cuddle closer. Our breathing steadied together and soon we both drifted off into dreams.
