Good In Goodbye

I smile up at Savannah and she smiles back at me. I get up and sit next to her, neither of us saying a word. We sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes before Kenny came over and said that Savannah was needed in hair and makeup. "Oh hi Sydney, I didn't see you there," Kenny says looking at me. "Hey..." I say. Kenny smiles and walks away. Charlie soon comes up to me and sits down next to me. "So what happened with Isabelle?" He asks. "I don't want to talk about it..."

      "Okay... How about after rehearsal, you and I get ice cream?" Charlie asks. I look up at him smiling and nod my head frantically. Charlie pulls me in for a hug before letting go and heading back over to the stage. I decide to get up and get water when I feel a hand grab my wrist and pull me into a closet. They turn the light on and let go of my wrist. "Listen here you little bitch, you are going to get back together with me and you are gonna like it or else I'm gonna tell everyone your little secret." "No, you listen to me! We're done. I ain't even gonna try to find the G-O-O-D in goodbye. Bye, forever Isabelle,"
I say to Isabelle and leave but that's when she grabs me and forces me to look at her before she slaps me.
    
       "This is your last warning princess." The way she says princess makes my skin crawl. "Hey! What's going on here?" I hear someone yell from behind me. Isabelle lets go of my wrist quickly and said, "Nothing to worry your pretty little blonde head over, I'm just talking to my girlfriend. Isn't that right princess?" Isabelle says smirking. I finally am able to look at the person who walked in and my face falls when I find Charlie standing behind Owen with a shocked expression. "G-girlfriend?" Charlie asks. "N-no," I say as I start to tear up. I look over to

      Owen and he gives me a look as if he's saying "I'm sorry, I tried to stop him." Charlie runs out of the room and I try to run after him when Isabelle grabs my wrist again, a little harder this time. "No, you are staying right here with me," she says as she brings me closer to her. "Let her go!" Owen yells. I silently plead with Owen to leave us alone so she doesn't hurt me anymore and he shakes his head. I mouth "Please O, I can handle this, just go find Char" to him and he nods before walking out. "Now, where were we? Oh yes, I remember now, I was just about to kiss you," Isabelle says. I shake out of her grip and run full force to get to Charlie as fast as I can. I manage to get away from Isabelle and find Charlie sitting in the lounge room with his head in his hands and Owen next to him.

      I carefully make my way over but I stop when I hear Charlie say, "Why didn't she tell me? I'm her brother... I would've loved her either way. I don't care if she isn't straight. I will always love and support her..." "Char... She was scared... She didn't want you to stop loving her..." "Why would she think that I wouldn't love her? I'm only mad that she didn't tell me she had a girlfriend..." Charlie says but I step in before Owen can say anything. "Char, I think it's time I told you about Isabelle..." "That she's your girlfriend? Yeah, I already know that." "No, I'm talking about what happened today," I say and Charlie looks up at me with a questioning look.
