"What do you mean?" Charlie asks. "Are you done with rehearsal?" I ask him and he nods. "Let's go get ice cream and head back to the apartment. This is gonna be a long story," I tell Charlie and he nods grabbing his hoodie and saying bye to the others. We get in his car and he starts to drive to the ice cream parlor. "Syd? Why didn't you tell me?" "Let's just talk about this when we get home please..." He nods and focuses on the road again. It feels like hours pass by before we reach the ice cream parlor. Charlie parks and we get out and go in. We get to the counter and order our favorites. I order a mint chocolate chip while Charlie orders a chocolate ice cream cone.

      We pay for the order, grab our ice cream and leave. We get back in the car and head to the apartment in dead silence. Charlie parks the car and we get out and head into the apartment. We get inside and go and sit down in the living room. "Start talking," Charlie says. "I don't know where to begin... I guess I just always knew I was lesbian. I just never really been into guys--" "But what about your ex-boyfriend Jack?" Charlie asks.

      "Well, we had started dating and at the 7th-grade dance, we kissed. That was the exact moment I knew I was gay. I told him and he was cool about it. He said he had a feeling but he just let me find out on my own and he kissed me so I could know and ever since, I've been lesbian.
And as for Isabelle, she's my ex. We dated for about 2 years before I caught her sleeping with my best friend Danielle. I broke it off with her 8 months ago--" "Wait is that why you were so depressed?" "Yeah... And as for this morning when I came in crying, I found out she was only with me to get me to have sex with her..." "Well did you have sex with her?" "No... I couldn't... I was scared..." "Of what?" Charlie asks. "That after I had sex with her that she would leave me as she did with her ex's and I wasn't ready."         

      "Wow..." "Yeah... That's pretty much all." "Does Owen know?" "Yeah, I told him after I found out." "So you told him but not me?" "I didn't tell you because I was scared to, I didn't want to lose you. I can't lose you. You mean everything to me," I say as I start crying. Charlie moves over and holds me in his arms. "Syd... I will always love you. You're my little sister so no matter what, I will love you." "I'm sorry," I say.

      He shakes his head at me and looks at me. "Syd, there's nothing to be sorry about. At least I know I won't have to hurt any boys," Charlie says laughing. I laugh. "So do you have any crushes?" Charlie asks. I start blushing and my mind immediately goes to Savannah and her beautiful personality. Charlie notices this and says, "Oooo, who's the lucky girl?" "Savannah..." "Savannah? As in onset Savannah?" Charlie asks. "Yeah..." "No, you are not allowed to date her at all. She is my castmate and I don't want you dating any of the cast." "But Char... She's just so amazing and so pretty... She doesn't even like me so we don't have a problem." "I guess you're right. Okay, I'm going to my room. It's 11 and I have to get to set early tomorrow." I nod my head and Charlie leaves.
