*6 YEARS LATER*
"And that Delilah, Daniel, and Joshua, is the story of how your mom and I fell in love," I say to my 4-year-olds. "Babe! I'm home!" "We're in Daniel's room," I yell out. "Hey baby," Savannah says to me. She walks over to me and kisses my forehead. "What have you four been up to?" She asks. I smile and say, "They asked us how we fell in love and so I told them our story."
She smiles and says, "Were you now?" "Yeah, Momma!" Joshua says. "Okay, you three, it's time for bed," I say smiling and going over to tuck in Delilah. "Aw but mommy, we no want bed yet..." Daniel says. "But kids, you have your first day of preschool tomorrow and it's going to be a big day," I say. "Okay, mommy..." Delilah says. Savannah smiles at the interaction and goes over to Joshua and tuck him in while I get Daniel and Delilah. Savannah walks over to me and our fingers interlock. We look back at our kids and close the door, walking to our room.
*3rd person POV*
I know you're probably wondering what happened in the last 6 years so here's what you missed. Sydney recovered from her eating disorder and was able to go home. Charlie finally accepted Savannah and Sydney to be together. Two years later, Savannah proposed to Sydney. They got married and decided they wanted to try to adopt a kid. They were finally successful in adopting a kid and ended up adopting 3 kids, Joshua Justice May, Delilah Kate May and Daniel James May. A year later and here we are now. Savannah has learned that letting herself love someone doesn't have to hurt and she now shows any affection she has for Sydney. Sydney learned that even though she was broken once before, she could allow herself to love again. Savannah and Sydney now live happily ever after with their three kids. Not wanting anyone else.
