It's been two months now since Savannah and I started dating. Charlie has yet to find out. I've been trying to get him to let me date her but he still won't budge. I'm sitting in my room currently, thoughts running through my head that I don't even hear my door opening and Charlie coming in. It is only when Charlie sits on my bed that I'm snapped out of my thoughts and brought back to reality. "Hey sis, whatcha thinking about?" "Oh you know, just stuff."

"What kind of stuff?" "Everything." "Talk to me," he says. "I'm good but thanks for the offer," I say. Charlie looks at me in a questioning way. "You sure about that?" "Yeah, I'm all good." "Okay, then, I guess I'll be on my way." I nod my head. In all honesty, I'm just caught up in my feelings. I have some things to think about. For example, I'm in deep love with Savannah but I can't tell her that I love her. What if she doesn't feel the same? Or what if she decides I'm not good enough for her? I'm lost in my thoughts when I hear the door being opened and closed once again. A familiar blonde walks in and sits on my bed. "What's up Syd?" "Huh, oh uh, nothing." "Tell me what's wrong," Owen says.

"It's nothing O... Just that I think I love Sav..." "Well you have to tell her, you can clearly see that she loves you. If you just open your eyes and look at that, you can see it too," he says. "I'm scared okay? My last relationship was messy and I don't want what happened to happen again. I know Savannah isn't like HER but still, it scares the hell out of me. I've never been good at expressing how I feel..." "Look Syd, I'm not saying you have to tell her but if you don't, you're gonna live to regret the fact you didn't say it sooner. She loves you Syd and it's even harder for her to express her feelings. You do realize you're the first girlfriend she's had right?" "I didn't know that..."

"Oh, well, you are and if she knew how you felt, it'd be easier for her to express her feelings. But listen when I say this, she loves you, she may not know it yet but she does, everyone sees it," Owen says. "It's just really hard O..." "I know... It's never easy but that's the thing with love, there are different ways to express it and you just have to find the way that works for you," Owen says now moving closer to me and hugging me. I curl against him and soon enough sleep overcomes me. He lays me down and tucks me in. I hear the door close as he says, "Goodnight Syd, I'll see you later."
