*2 WEEKS LATER*

"Syd, you have to come out of there. I know you're upset but maybe it's time for you to go home. Charlie misses you... I miss seeing that beautiful smile on your face..." Savannah says through the bathroom door. I've resorted to locking myself in the bathroom. "I don't want to go home Savvy... He told me he doesn't want us to date... I love you and I can't lose you..." "Syd... I love you too but Charlie is your brother and you didn't even celebrate your birthday with him. You sat moping around. You wouldn't even let me get you a cake and throw a party for you..."

"I'm not going home Savannah!" I yell. "Fine, I have to go. I'll be back around 8. Please eat something... You've barely eaten anything..." "Okay..." I wait until I hear Savannah leave to leave the bathroom. I walk into the kitchen and grab a banana. I eat the banana and throw away the peel. I walk into Savannah's music room and grab the acoustic guitar she has. Nobody knows this about me but writing songs always helped make me feel better. Writing songs had gotten me through so much. I start strumming some chords before coming up with a melody. I start singing some lyrics to go with the guitar.

First things first
We start the scene in reverse
All of the lines rehearsed
Disappeared from my mind
When things got loud
One of us running out
I should've turned around
But I had too much pride,

I continue to sing until I come up with the perfect song. As I'm singing the song, tears streamed down my face. I finish the song and name it Unsaid Charlie. As I'm putting the guitar back, I notice Savannah in the doorway with tears in her eyes. "Savvy? No, no, no, you weren't supposed to hear that..." I say. "Syd... That was beautiful. Did you write that?" "Yeah... Look, nobody knows I write music and I don't want anyone to know..." "But Syd... You have a gift, look, let me talk to Kenny, I think that song would be perfect in Julie And The Phantoms," She says.

"No, I don't want anyone to hear my music, it's personal..." "Baby... Just let me talk to Kenny, it was so good... I think you could do wonders in the song business..." "Fine, you're lucky I love you..." "Ah! Thank you, baby! You won't regret this! You should come with me!" "I- I can't..." "Yes, you can! C'mon, come with me please?" "Fine..." "Yay! Grab your bag so we can go, I'm late," She says. I grab my bag and we head to Savannah's car.

We swing by Chick Fil A and get some food before leaving to get to the studio. By the time we get there, I finished my food. Savannah parks and we head in. When we get in, my body collides with someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry," the accented voice says. "It's alright," I mumble. When we pull away from each other, I see that I bumped into Charlie. "Sydney? What are you doing here?" "I'm uh, I'm with Savannah..." I say. "Oh, listen, I'm sorry Syd... I miss you, please, come back home... I know you love Savannah and I know how much she loves you and I'm willing to let you date her on one condition, you come back home..."

"Charlie... I miss you too but Savvy means everything to me and you were being a bitch about it. I don't know that I can ever come back home..." "Please Syd... You mean everything to me, I miss you..." "Fine... I'll come back home, but don't expect me to break up with Savvy or make me come out to mom and dad. I will come out to them when I am ready..." "Okay, I won't say anything, you'll really come home?" "Yeah, I will..." Charlie pulls me into a hug and says, "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you!" "I love you too Char but I have a meeting to attend to, bye," I say pulling away. He gives me a questioning look but nods his head and walks away. I go to find Savvy and when I finally find her, she's sitting on a red couch in an office space with Kenny.
