Y/N's pov:
You've worked at the BAU for awhile now and you've recently started to develop feelings for your coworker Emily Prentiss.
You have always known you were different from your friends you didn't get crushes on boys your age like the rest of the girls and it always made you feel like you were different or even broken somehow. You didn't understand why until recently when you discovered you like girls and you finally felt like you truly understand yourself.

You've had your eyes on Emily Prentiss since the day you joined the BAU but never thought much about it until recently when you started developing actual feelings for her.

She was just gorgeous and you loved everything about her. The way she would bite her lip while thinking and her adorable smile but most of all you loved how incredibly kind and down to earth she was. But you knew she could never feel the same way about you so you promised yourself to keep your feelings hidden at all costs.

"Y/N?" Emily asked as she tapped you gently on your shoulder.

"Hm?" You asked snapping out of your thoughts. "Oh sorry Emily did you need something?" 

"I wanted to ask if you were up for some drinks with me and the rest of the team after work".

"Yeah sure that sounds great" you replied trying to not make it obvious that you were freaking out on the inside.

"Great I'll see you there then!" Emily replied with a smile as she walked back to her desk.

You watched Emily sit down at her desk and start sorting case files. She was wearing one of her red tops that looked amazing on her and you couldn't help but stare.

"Hello earth to Y/N" Garcia says as she walks up to you.

"Hm what" you said realizing you were still staring at Emily.

"What's going on with you and Emily?" Garcia asked.

"What do you mean? Why would there be something going on?" You asked trying to hide the fact that you were in love with Emily.

"Oh cmon Y/N I saw how you were looking at Emily. You like her don't you?" Garcia said giggling.

"Why the hell would I like Emily? I don't have feelings for her I'm not into girls anyways" you said.

"Whatever you say Y/N but if you did like her no one would judge you" she said with a smile as she got back to work.

You sighed in relief as Garcia left your desk , that was way too close you thought to yourself as you went back to sorting paperwork.

The day went by quickly and it was now 7.30 pm and it was time to head to the bar with the rest of the team.

You walked to the bar and when you walked in you saw Emily sitting alone at the bar. She was wearing a black blazer set with a red top underneath. You decided to join her as you waited for the others to arrive.

"Hey there" Emily said giving you a smile.

Gosh how you loved that smile, you thought to yourself

"Hey" you said softly smiling back at her.

"You okay Y/N?" Emily asked softly.

"Yes I'm fine Em why are you asking?"

"You don't seem like yourself recently you're always lost in your thoughts" Emily said looking into your eyes.

"I'm fine Em I promise" you said trying to sound convincing but you had a feeling it didn't work so well.
