Y/N's pov:
You woke up in your and Emily's bed. The bright morning sun was shining through the window making the room too bright for your sleepy eyes. You groaned as you rolled over to bury your head against Emily just like you'd always do only to realize her side of the bed way empty.

You eyes shot open and you sat up on the bed looking at the empty spot next to you. You felt a panic shot through your body.

"Em?" You called out hoping she'd just gone into the kitchen. She didn't reply making you even more worried. What if she had left again? Was she mad at you?

You got out of bed and went to find her but the apartment was completely empty. You felt the anxiety build in your chest. You hadn't had an anxiety attack in months which you were really grateful about. Emily had always been by your side to make you feel safe and relaxed which made your anxiety a little better but now it was shooting through the roof.

You hadn't even noticed that you were holding your breath for far too long making you gasp for air. You felt as though no oxygen came into your lungs making you panic even more. You heard the front door open and the sound of keys jiggling.

"Y/N Im home!" A voice called out.

You couldn't answer her. You were still trying to control your breathing but it wasn't working. She walked into the kitchen and saw you standing with both hands gripping the sides of the counter.

"Y/N" She she whispered, you turned to her, gasping for air.

"Em" you chocked out between breaths.

"Come here" she murmured, wrapping her arms around you as you slowly let go of the counter, you both sank to the ground.

"Baby, I need you to take deep breaths for me, okay?" She whispered trying to calm you down.

You did as she asked, slowly breathing in and out as your body slowly stopped shaking. She was still holding you in a tight grip making you feel safe in her arms. Your eyes were closed and your head was pressed against her chest while her one hand was rubbing your back and the other one was tightly wrapped around your body to keep you in place. You just sat there in silence for awhile while she held you.

You slowly loosened your grip on her and pulled away. You got up from the floor and started making coffee.

"Y/N?" you heard Emily say in a worried tone. You avoided eye contact and poured yourself a cup of coffee and went to sit down at the kitchen table.

"Are you okay?" She asked following behind you as you sat down and placed the cup in front of you.

"I'm fine" you said grabbing a random magazine that was laying on the table. You started reading the first page not really focusing on the words. Suddenly Emily snatched the magazine out of your hands making you jump a bit.

"What the hell?" You said snapping at her. Your eyes finally meeting hers.

"Five minutes ago you were on the floor gasping for air and now you're suddenly fine?" She said confronting you.

"That was nothing, I'm fine" you said leaning back in your chair.

"Oh cut the crap Y/N, you're not "fine" and we both know it. How about you talk to me Instead of shutting me out for once?" She said sitting down across from you.

"Why can't you just drop it?" You said getting annoyed.

"Because i care about you? You we're literally just gasping for air and now you want to tell me you're fine? I'm not buying that" she said looking into your eyes.
