Y/N's pov:
You had woken up early and carefully removed yourself from Emily's arms trying not to wake her.
You decided to bring her breakfast in bed so you called room service and ordered a variety of breakfast foods since you didn't know what she would want. You decided on pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, coffee and orange juice. Shortly after the food was delivered to your door and you took the tray to the bedroom and placed it down on the side table. You sat down next to Emily watching her sleep. She looked so peaceful. Her breathing was slow and steady and her lips were slightly parted. You leaned down to kiss her lips.

"Em wake up" you said giggling.

"Hm" she mumbled still half asleep.

You crawled on top of her and started kissing her neck causing her to wake up.

"This is a nice way to wake up" she said smiling up at you.

You leaned down and gave her a quick kiss before you pulled away.

"I got us breakfast" you said getting off her and lifting up the tray with food.

"Wow breakfast in bed? What's the occasion?" She asked giggling.

"I just wanted to do something nice for my amazing girlfriend" you replied giving her a smile.

"I like the sound of that" she said smiling.

"What?" You giggled.

"You calling me your girlfriend" Emily said hugging you from behind and kissing your cheek making you smile.

You and Emily sat in the bed eating the food and talking for awhile until it was time to head out to meet the others and travel home.

You had landed awhile ago and were now walking in to the BAU with the rest of the team. Emily left to go to the coffee shop nearby since you two needed to stay and finish paperwork until late at night so you both desperately needed caffeine.

You walked into the bullpen and headed to your desk when you suddenly froze in your steps when you saw a familiar woman sitting at your desk.

"Mother" you said raising your voice.

"There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere and I finally managed to find where you work." She said standing up.

"I am not doing this with you, you need to leave" you said snapping at her.

"You young lady have some apologizing to do. You have been nothing but ungrateful to me your whole life but running away was really over the top even for you." She said raising her voice and walking over to you.

She gripped your arm looking at your hand making you jump. You had always hated to be touched especially by your mom.

"Do not touch me" you said through your teeth snatching your arm away from her grip.

"You were always the disappointment of the family and no wonder you aren't married yet I mean look at you" she said pointing at your body.

"I am an adult mother you have no right to tell me what to do anymore. I am so done with you constantly treating me like crap and you have no business speculating on my love life. Get out before I call security" you yelled walking away towards the bathroom.

You saw Garcia on your way to the bathroom.

"Hey Y/N? Is everything okay?" She asked worryingly.

"Uh yes everything is fine Garcia" you said trying to hold back the tears that you felt forming in your eyes.

"Are you sure sweetheart? You can always talk to me if you need a friend" she said touching your shoulders making you jump a bit.
