I started wildly sobbing and didn't stop until my mom came into the bathroom. I quickly covered my ears with my hair as she stared at me with a worried look on her face.

"Are you okay?" she asked with her brown puppy eyes.

I sighed and covered my hair with the hood of my hoodie. "I'm fine mom", I said with red tear filled eyes, "leave me alone please."

She sat next to me. I looked at the ground, my mom had never really seen me crying before.

"You can always talk to me, you know that right?" she said lovingly with a fake smile.

Before I could stop her she tucked my hair behind my ear. The look on her face was shocking. She let out a high pitched scream and I cried even louder.

"Mom" I said with tears running down my face.

I tried to give her a hug but she dodged me and slapped my hands away.

My heart broke in a million pieces. How could a mother be that scared of her own daughter? I didn't know that was possible. But it clearly was.

She stormed out of the bathroom, leaving me alone, like always.
