Hyunjin's POV
I didn't have an appetite after fighting with Jihoon, so I went to the rooftop and sat on the ground with my back against the wall. Fishing through my jacket pocket, I took out a picture and stared at it.
"Mom, dad, I finally got in Seoul International School." I brushed my finger through mom and dad's photo while smiling lightly. "I promise that I will study hard and fulfil your dreams to open a company of our own."
I looked up to the sky as light winds brushed my hair, making them flow a little. The sound of the bell snapped me out of my train of thoughts, so I put that picture back in my pocket and stood up, walking out of the rooftop to lockers.
The hallways were empty, making me think that all students are in the class until I heard a groan and some people talking but it wasn't clear. My boots heels clicked on the floor, the hallways were empty which made them echo as I followed the sound and also heard a loud cry.
As I took a turn, I saw some tall girls beating a short-haired girl. My eyes went wide when she slammed the girl's head on the lockers and I was more shocked when I saw it was none other than Eunji.
"LET GO OF HER!!" I yelled, all of them turn their heads and looked at me. My breath hitched when I saw Eunji's face. Her right cheek was bruised and her brown hair was a mess as the girl was holding on to them harshly. A trail of blood was coming from her forehead to her cheek.
I sped walked to them. "Shit." The girl, who was holding Eunji said as she let go of her and all of them ran away. I quickly went to Eunji and saw her swaying a little.
"Eunji," I called her, she looked up to me. I saw her eyes fluttering like she was trying to keep them open.
"Hyunjin..." She muttered and her eyes closed as she fell. I caught her before she could completely fall on the floor.
"Fuck." I cursed before quickly sliding my hand under her legs while others behind her back and picked her up. Luckily, I remembered where the nurse room is, so I quickly ran there. The door was open and I went inside. "Doctor!" I called, a woman came wearing a white doctor coat.
"Omo! What happened to her??" She exclaimed while running to us.
"Some students beat her," I said.
"Bring her there." She pointed at a bed, I went to it and laid her on it. "What's her name?"
"Eunji." I sat on the chair beside the bed and waited for the doctor to treat her. She bandaged her head. Eunji was wearing shorts, so I could see a bruise on her leg. I bet they kicked her with their heels.
