Chapter 12

-Rachel pov-
Things I didn't think were gonna happen yesterday are as follows:

Rehearsal getting cut short
Me being ready to kill two old women
My mom having a heart attack
Using my moms stored breast milk to feed Beth.

But here we are! I'm holding Beth in the waiting room with the crew. Sugar is beside me leaning on my shoulder. She's been my rock today.

Quinn and Santana are here as well. They are silently arguing with their parents. I believe they are actually yelling at them. They seem to be looking very guilty.

I see movement in the doorway and look up. I'm honestly surprised to see Sue. All talking quiets down as she walks in. She walks up to me and crouches down to my level.

"You doing okay Streisand?" I nod and she smiles "That's good to hear"

"Sylvester?" Judy is standing soon with all eyes on her "I hear you are the reason my girls thought it was ok to be with Shelby! You push for pedophilia?"

"Santana is eighteen and so are they" Sue stands up "They are adults and I will treat them as such! You two though! You put a woman in the hospital for what?! Cause she makes your daughters happy? Because they love her and she loves them?! They have done nothing wrong! GROW UP!"

"She's right" We all look at Maribel who stands up "We put two girls mom in the hospital...that's uncalled for! We did this to that woman! We are the monsters!"

"You finally are choosing to be moms" Quinn stands up "But you pushed against something that wasn't hurting anyone though...I appreciate you trying but pleases..don't push her away ok? We wanna be with her and go on dates! We wanna be able to kiss her again..she has to be ok for that"

"Shelby will be just fine" Judy pulls Quinn into her "She's a mom! We push till our lungs give out..then we push some more!"

I smile as they start to patch things up "Rachel Berry?" I stand and a doctor starts walking toward me "I have a update on your mom"

"Please" I look at the girls "Can we wait till one more person gets here?"

"Tall blonde?" I nod and the doctor smiles "She is already entertaining your mom. She passed on the way out here and I let her go..was that ok?"

"Perfect" I smile then remember he had an update "What's the update doc?"

"She will be fine just needs to take it easy for a few days" He gives me a gentle smile "We will watch her tonight and see about early release since it wasn't too major"

"Thank you" I look at the group then back at him "Can we go in?"

"Normally I'd say no" He turns and waves us to follow "Come on"

It's a quick walk to moms room. He leaves us at the door and I take a deep breath. I look down at the smiling baby in my arms. I open the door and walk in.

"Oh!" We all stop at the door "Brittany! Stop that!"

"But I don't wanna" Brittany pouts "I'm having to much fun!"

"Uhh" Both girls look at us "So what's going on?"

Brittany moves from the bed "She was frowning" Brittany moves her hand slowly "So I was getting her to laugh!"

Soon Brittany is tickling my moms feet. My mom starts laughing and trying to get away. I look at the other two moms. I smile when I see a smile on their faces.

"Damnit Shelby!" Santana runs to the bed and hugs her "You scared me! You dumb idiot!"

"You can't leave us that easily" Quinn is over there next "You can't leave us period ok?"
