It was the next morning, Sunday. Meaning I'd have to see him tomorrow, ugh.
I couldn't get last night out of my head. In public he's so terrible, he's my worst nightmare.
In private though, it's different. The man who was in my room last night was not Wayne Perez. He still had these fuckboy straits of himself, but he was somehow so sweet and teasing about it. I didn't want to choke him right away!

I went to shower, listen to chasing cars on repeat, got dressed in a disgusting, lazy outfit, and sat at my desk.

I have no plans today what so ever, so I decided to invite Amber over.

"Hello my lovely Amy!" I rang Amy and spoke in the happiest fake tone ever.
"oh my gosh! How did it go!?" She gasped.
"Great! I have so much to tell you!" I squealed into the phone.
"you're lying. i'm on my way!!" She yelled and hung the phone up.

Gosh that girl is gullible.

I ran downstairs, sat on the couch waiting for Amber to arrive.

"Ew, you look like a fucking pig." I heard a raspy voice from behind and I quickly turned my neck, almost breaking it.
"Oh shut up, old man." I rolled my eyes and flicked my dad off.
He stuck out his tongue in a childish way and I laughed at the face he made.
"I'm gonna go watch the game with tiny brother, be back later." He came over to kiss my forehead and fuzz my freshly combed hair.

He walked towards the front door, opening it before Amy could knock.
"Good afternoon, old man." She showed my dad a cheeky smile and he flicked her forehead.
"Whatever nerd." He scoffed and walked passed her.

"Please tell me everything that happened!!!" She slammed the door behind her and jumped on the couch, sitting right next to me.
"You were wrong, Amber. Terribly wrong." I rolled my eyes and walked to the kitchen.
"Wh-what do you mean I was wrong!?" She gasped and placed her hand over her heart. She jumped off the couch and raced me to the kitchen, sitting on the countertop and crossing her legs.

"He's a dick, Amy,Always will be. Thanks for trying, but it didn't work." I opened the fridge and scanned it for something good to eat, but I failed on finding something.

Eliza sat on the countertop, for the first time, she was silent.
Why?
"Aren't you Going to speak?" I closed the fridge door and crossed my arms.
"I respect your decision. I'll be off now. Goodbye Evelyn." She jumped off the countertop and made her way to the front door.

Why is she so over dramatic? It's all those movies she watches.

"Come on, You can't actually be mad at me because you're the one that set me up with a terrible person. You should've known it wasn't gonna work."I followed her to the door and grabbed her elbow, turning her to face me.
There was a small tear going down her cheek and I was confused?

"Are you seriously crying!?" I groaned.
"No, but I want to be dramatic." She fussed and pulled her arm out of my grip.
"Well that's something you definitely are." I mumbled.

"Please, Eve? Just go on another date with him! You didn't even spend time talking with him. He's a great person, I swear! He's just hard to work with." She pouted and intertwined  our fingers.
"Two wrongs make no right, Amy. It. Wont. Work." I said word by word and flicked her forehead.

"Well... too late!" She squealed and ran up the stairs like a gorilla to my room.

What is this girl up to?

I groaned chasing after the wild animal.
I was huffing and puffing when I had finally made it up the stairs, and lazily walked to my room.

"Thanks Wayne! You're the best! Bye!" She smiled with my phone against her cheek.
My eyes quickly widened and I ran to snatch my phone. I knew I was too late by now. Amber must've done something bad.
Her plans always fail.

She passed me my phone, and I rudely snatched it and threw myself in my desk chair.
"What did you do!?" I gasped and looked at my recent calls. Wayne's name was at the top of the list. A part of me had hope that she was only joking, but who was I kidding? Amber doesn't know it, but everything is a joke. Even if she doesn't know it, every single thought she has is a joke or doesn't make sense.

"You're busy on Saturday by the way. You have another date with Wayne. We are going for dinner, then to the park after. This time it's actually on valentine's day!" She winked and raced out my room!

My jaw hit the floor and my face turned red. Not blushing, by the way .
Who does she think she is!? Setting me up on a date with one of the hottest guys in this town!? Ugh, she should be ashamed of herself.

I jumped off my chair and ran out my room, searching for this her everywhere.

"I'm going to murder you, okay! I am going to tie you to a chair, throw a million bricks at your face, and cut your stupid big ass head off with a chainsaw!!!" I yelled as I peaked around the living room.

"Oh cmon Eve give it a rest, you can't tell me nothing happened!" I heard her, but couldn't see her.

Was she right? Unfortunately.
Will I admit that? Nope!

"What ya doing there, little sis?" Nathan walked passed me with a Gatorade in his right hand, and his phone in the other.
"Where did that rat go?" I crossed my arms and turned to face his direction.
"Amy? Yea, she left." He slightly chuckled and did a small jog up the stairs.

Just when I thought it was over, it's only getting started...
