Class fight

Catra looked back at Adora, noticing how she was panicking. She could see the blondie was struggling to breathe and it hurt her seeing her in distress.

"Nonsense, stand up and read it out loud" The professor raised her voice.

'Ugh why do I even care if she gets in trouble? It's none of my business. Though I would hate to be in that situation, I'd like to help her' Catra thought about ways she could stop the teacher but her mind was blank.

Adora nervously stood up, carefully opening the note to read it out loud.

Catra looked through her pockets to find something to bring the attention to herself, BINGO! A lighter. She always carried one on herself for the mere fact that she liked setting things on fire and being mischievous.

She took the piece of cloth she was given in the beginning of her class and set it on fire.

Lonnie watched her shocked, she had no idea what that crazy brunette was doing.

Adora started reading the first words slowly, she felt her heart drop to her stomach and suspected a panic attack crippling in.

"The girl-" Adora was interrupted suddenly by Catra holding a piece of cloth on fire and screaming:

"PROFESSOR, I'm sorry I don't know what happened!" Catra shouted as she threw the material on the floor, everyone looked at her astonished. In a matter of seconds the fire alarm went off and water started to sprinkle all over the class.

The students started screaming while running out of the classroom.

"I got my hair done yesterday ughhhhh whatever" Said a blue haired girl as she walked out of the class.

All the people that stayed in the class as the water poured over them was Lonnie, Catra, Adora and Glimmer who took shelter under the table. The professor had run out of the class trying to turn off the alarm.

"C-Catra, why did you do that?" Adora asked her genuinely confused, there was no way the fire came out of nowhere.

"I-" Catra got interrupted as Lonnie grabbed her by the arm and pulled her out of the class, afraid they would get even more soaked.
As she was dragged out of class she didn't take her eyes off Adora.

Time skip - Principal's office.

"Principal Hordak, I'm not lying! I promise you I didn't start that fire" Catra cried In frustration.

"Then how do you explain the material setting on fire?" The principal asked, genuinely concerned.

"I don't know, maybe it was flammable, I'm just as shocked as you..." Catra did her best to lie and not get caught.

Principal Hordak gave in a sigh. It was the first day of class and he still had to talk to many other troublemakers.

"You're dismissed, but If you're involved in any other mischief today, you will not be able to study in this college anymore. Now OUT!" He said while pointing at the door.

'That was easier than i imagined, good job Catra' She walked out of the principal's office, she still had time to go to her other class of the day, wrestling.

"Catra?" A familiar voice called out for her. As she turned around she saw Adora standing near the lockers.

"Hey what're you doing here? Are you also in trouble?" She asked worriedly.

"No, no, I was just wondering. Why did you set that thing on fire?" Adora had her suspicions but she wanted to know from the source.

"I- I didn't want you to get in trouble because of a stupid paper, I don't think the teacher should have lost her temper on you." Catra couldn't look at Adora, her eyes couldn't meet hers because of embarrassment.

The next seconds took her by surprised, Adora leaned in and hugged Catra, putting her arms around her shoulders since she was shorter and held her tightly. It took her a few seconds for Catra to reciprocate the hug, grabbing Adora's waist. Both of them still wet from the incident, Catra found comfort in her arms, she liked the heat that came out of Adora's body, since she was wet, her fur made it harder for her to get dry and she shivered in cold. After a few minutes which seemed like hours in each other's embrace, both of them let go, neither of them actually wanting to leave each other.

"Catra, thank you, I was wondering if you'd like to go-" Adora was quickly interrupted by another voice down the corridor.

"There you are!" Lonnie came running, grabbing Catra by the wrist and pulling her away. "We are late for our wrestling match come onnnnn". Adora's hands turned into fists.

'That girl again! What is she doing, the whole day she has been dragging Catra away from me' Adora started walking towards her wrestling match, not caring that she was late, after all, she waited by the lockers to talk to Catra after her talk with the principal.

"Listen up losers, my name is Huntara. Your wrestling teacher. I will teach you guys how to fight, how to defend yourselves and how to protect Etheria. Danger lures all corners and we need to be ready. I also encourage you to let go of your stress and feelings bottled up here, this is a safe space to fight" The gigantic instructor spoke out loud.

Adora couldn't stop staring at Catra, she was sitting on the other side of the circle of students.

'Her wet hair looks so pretty' she thought while blushing.

Every now and then she could see Catra also looking at her with a small grin, but every couple of minutes Lonnie would talk to her or try to touch her arm.

"So, are there any students willing to wrestle right now? This will be fun don't worry. You can also challenge someone for a fun match." Huntara let the students know while the class became noisier.

Adora couldn't hold her anger anymore, she wanted to take advantage of the opportunity she was given.

"I want to wrestle" Adora yelled raising her arm.

"I, Adora grayskull, challenge you to a match" Adora took a step forward and pointed at Lonnie. The class became silent after that.

"Me?? What's your problem girl?" Lonnie replied confused.

"Do you accept or no?" Adora asked as she looked at Catra. She couldn't figure out what the feline was thinking, her ears were perked up to pay attention to every noise but her face was emotionless.

Lonnie looked at Catra and said "Watch me destroy this girl" She said with a grin.

Making Adora lose her temper even more.

"Alright, so let's start with the basic, this will be more of a MMA match, you can punch, kick, use your elbows. No biting, no pulling hair, understood?" Huntara asked both of them, which got a nod from both.

Adora and Lonnie got in their fighting stances.

"Three" Huntara started the countdown.
"Two"
"On-" Lonnie threw her first punch wasting no time, which for her surprise it was quickly dodged by Adora.

The tanned girl advanced and tried to do a turning kick but Adora caught her leg and pulled it making Lonnie fall to the ground.

"Oooohhh" The class said in unison. It seemed like everyone was cheering for Adora and they were all very interested. The blond girl looked at the crowd while losing focus for a second.

Lonnie still on the floor kicked Adora's knee making her fall as well.

She jumped at Adora and sat on top of her and started punching her face. The blond tried to block her punches but ended up receiving a few of them. She held onto Lonnies waist as she stood up with all her force and did a death drop, landing lonnie on her back.

The tanned girl couldn't breathe, she pulled Adora towards her and managed to get her in a head lock, at the same time she used her elbows to hit Adora's back, drawing some blood. She let out a whimper of pain but she managed to get out of her head lock and kick Lonnie to the stomach, making her couch blood.

"That's enough!" Huntara said while holding Adora back.

The class cheered and jumped on Adora in hope for a hug, she made a few new fans after-all. But the only one she cared about was nowhere to be seen.
